And here it is, exactly one month after the fashion month my #pfw EDIT. With all the gossip from Autumn Winter 2018 Paris Fashion Week. And no, even though sharing this after a month I still remember everything quite clearly. I mean how could I forget my drunk scenes in front of Jenny Cipoletti and other big bloggers I made. Or those beautiful fashion shows and Escada logo t-shirt, new over the knee boots, buttons … Ups, already revealing too much.
I know you have been waiting for this special #pfw EDIT so anxiously. You kept sending me DMs and emails asking me when the hell (quoting) I will finally post all about AW 2018 Paris Fashion Week. But you know there were so many other ongoing things, (like the Easter holidays, my new plexi pumps and the denim jacket) I really wanted to share first. And the fact that I really don’t like to write about the past. You know what I mean? Future is far more exciting. Luckily there are at least the new collections I have to write about this time.
But first, the things you like the most, #pfw GOSSIP. You know, there almost were #nyfw #lfw and #mfw gossip too. Because guess what, I got an invitation to all 4 fashion weeks. Yet, again I only went to Paris fashion week. Call me crazy or insane, but I was actually just lazy and sick after all that vaccines I got few weeks before the fashion month. So yes, all I can write about this time is Autumn Winter 2018 Paris Fashion Week. Still, the Parisian stories and fashion shows are the ones we anticipate the most, right?
AUTUMN WINTER 2018/19 FASHION TRENDS
You know what? Let’s leave the gossip for the end. À la fin I should write what happens in Paris stays in Paris. Well, some of the things really did. Like my lust for the croissants and macarons. Yes, again the macarons.
Let’s have a look at the autumn winter 2018/19 fashion trends first. Honestly, I had to check all the runway photos to come up with this short list of autumn winter 2018/19 fashion trends. And no, not because I would forget all the designs I saw live while sitting in the first, pardon mostly second (but always sitting which happens to be a big thing though) row at the fashion shows I got invited. By the way, I got far more invitations than in September. And yet only went to see 4 more fashion shows than last Paris fashion week.
Anyway, where was I? Oh, the autumn winter 2018/19 fashion trends. So as said I had to check all the runway photos from all the fashion shows as the designs I saw live were so different that I simply couldn’t pull a line in between them. Who knows, perhaps if I hadn’t missed that 3 fashion shows of Paris Fashion Week it would have been easier to spot all the autumn winter 2018 fashion trends simply by going through the photos I took while sitting by the runways.

WHAT’S IN FASHION FOR AUTUMN WINTER 2018/19
So what are the latest fashion trends for autumn winter 2018/19 then? Paris fashion week says we will be wearing these: the plaid and the checks (yes still here), the 20s, shine, dressing up for the day, the luxe cowgirl wearing the luxury fringed maxi dress and urban cowboy boots. We will also be wearing modern sportswear (forget the track pants though) and feminine suits in autumn winter 2018/19.
Then the party pencil skirt, animal print, tie-dye, patchwork.
And as it goes to the colours, the hot pink, some strange shade of blue called the cerulean blue, orange, yellow (I told you, you should get a yellow dress – remember here?). Furthermore, there will also be the winter white, and oh, I almost forgot the small bags and the leather dress. Oh and my favourites, the cape and the hood, silk, silver everything, xl round sequins, tweed (so happy to see tweed at Escada as well).
Also the pleats, yes it seems I will be borrowing my mother’s pleated midi again in autumn winter 2018/19. And logo. Yes, we are still wearing logos. Ps. I have my eyes all over that chic Escada logo t-shirt. Can’t wait when it hits the stores. Anyway, more about that Escada logo t-shirt later. I mean it’s so fabulous it needs more than just a brief mention.
WHY WAIT WHEN YOU CAN HAVE IT ALL NOW
As you can see not all of the autumn winter 2018/19 fashion trends are new. Which is not bad at all. All the opposite. This only means you can shop the latest fashion trends now when most of our favourite stores have some discounts. Besides, following that see now shop now strategy, you can actually shop the autumn winter 2018/19 collection before May.
Ps. Check the gallery below to see a glimpse of my shopping list. By the way, be sure to check my spring summer 2018 shopping list as well. The entire one, of course. Find it over here. Just click the link and check it later. After you go through my autumn winter 2018/19 favorites and read all the gossip from Paris Fashion Week I still need to share with you.
ARRÊT: AU MUSÉE DU PARFUM
Before I share all the details about autumn winter 2018/19 Paris fashion week, my favourite fashion shows and presentations, I have seen and all the #pfw gossip, of course, I must stop here. Au Musée du Parfum.
As you could see in my Insta stories, well shame on you if you missed it, you should be following me @veronikalipar. Whatsoever, I went to Musée du Parfum after one fashion show (which happened to be one of my favourites – don’t worry sharing the details later in this post) and three fashion presentations at the Le Bristol Paris hotel which happens to be right across the street from Musée du Parfum. Well, Musée du Parfum is slightly hidden behind that giant Rimowa suitcase. Still, you can’t miss it. Especially if you are the nose. Like me.
You already know how much I love perfumes. And that I always end up at some perfume presentation or workshop when I’m in Paris. Which happens to be quite often. Yet this was my first time at Musée du Parfum. Will I go back? Bien sûr. I still have some fragrances left to smell. No, I didn’t leave those for the next time because I wouldn’t be able to distinguish a rose from the s*, you know I can smell up to 30 (yes the number has increased significantly) different natural fragrances in a row. But because I was already running late for the next fashion show.
AUTUMN WINTER 2018/19 PARIS FASHION WEEK
As said before, I have seen 4 more fashion shows than in September at Spring Summer 2018 Paris Fashion Week. The number would have been higher if I haven’t missed 3 other fashion shows. I blamed it on my sister though. I always book my flight for the wrong date whenever she travels with me. Surely the fact that I was sick has something to do with this mess up too. Anyway, the thing is that I came to Paris two days too late and I missed 3 fashion shows and a bunch of presentations.
Luckily I didn’t miss Escada and those two fashion shows. Yes, again I’m sharing only two fashion shows with you. You do want to read all fashion gossip by the lunch, right? And we still have so many things to check before the last part of this #pfw EDIT.
Starting with my favourite fashion show (it was a show, a spectacle of colours), I have seen at autumn winter 2018/19 Paris fashion show, Manish Arora. In case the name doesn’t sound familiar to you, yes, you have been living under the rock, Manish Arora is one of the most celebrated and inspiring contemporary fashion designers in the fashion world for the last decade, since his exhibition in the windows of the Palais Royal. I guess this was the reason why I spotted some of the celebrity fashion bloggers sitting in the first row at this fashion show. Anyway, let’s leave the celebrities for the gossip part later, and have a look at Manish Arora’s autumn winter 2018/19 collection.
Manish Arora autumn winter 2018/19 ready to wear collection was, as expected, colourful and rich in vivid prints, textures. Fulfilled with the Chinoiserie and the Chinese emoji Tuzki. But not wearable in Europe. If you know what I mean. Whatsoever, with the opening of five stand-alone stores in China this year, putting the Chinoiserie on the runway, was not a surprise at all.
Swipe through the gallery to find my favourite looks of Manish Arora autumn winter 2018/19 collection. Thinking better, I could see me wearing that blue tulle skirt. Styled with something elegant yet simple, would fit the European street too. And not only the Oxford street in London.
Also, check my favourites from Manish Arora spring summer 18 collection.
Unlike in Manish Arora, I can totally see me Heill autumn winter 2018/19 collection. This for some boring, but for me elegant and sophisticated collection overwhelmed me. Especially the wedding dress and suits. What do you think about this collection? Do you find it boring or beautiful? Please share your thoughts on Heill autumn winter 2018/19 collection in the comments below. Lots of you loved seeing this collection in my Insta Story. Here’s a glimpse of it. Ps. Thumbs up!
TRAFFIC SIGN: ARRÊT: C’EST ROUGE FOR FEATHERS
Before we head on my favourite #pfw fashion presentations, a little stop at my fashion week outfits. I know you are eager to know what I wore in Paris. Especially because I couldn’t show you my fashion week outfits in the previous #pfw EDIT. Unfortunately, I don’t have much to show this time either. Even though I actually had my own photographer with me, my sister this time, I came back home with only a few photos. And 4 outfit photos.
And no, not because my sister was a bad photographer, well that too. She really wasn’t in the shooting mood. But because it was so f* cold. It even snowed on the morning of Manish Arora fashion show. You have no idea how much I suffered while standing there in a line for the fashion show. Hat down to the girls who managed to stand there in that cold wearing sandals and mini skirts. Well, if only I were wearing a hat that day. But I did wear feathers. Luckily.
SHOP AND WEAR MY STYLE
Not going to write you should save, pin and print this fashion cheat sheet for winter 2018, as feathers won’t be a thing then. But you can wear this outfit for the cold spring mornings. As you know feathers are everywhere this season. Ps. You can get your feather boa in the widget below. As well as the other things I’m wearing.
Truth to be told, you have seen me in this outfit before the Paris Fashion Week. I was actually planning to change my outfit for the fashion show, but it was too cold. After standing there in the wind and snow, my feet turned into the ice cubes, and I simply couldn’t slip my foot into the plexi pumps I carried in a bag.
Now you know why I never carry an extra pair of shoes around and change my shoes once I get to the venue. Because they never fit. Still wearing my new leather plexi shoes all the way from the hotel to the fashion show was not an option either, as I was afraid the snow would ruin my new shoes. By the way, you do know what shoes I’m writing about, right? After all, you keep seeing them on my Instagram and Brunette from Wall Street blog. Last time seen here.
Ps. These shoes are made for walking. I walked 9 km in those stunning Ginavito Rossi pumps. Anyway, more about that and other Parisian numbers in my 5A 5Q over here.
MY FAVOURITES FROM FALL WINTER 2018/19 PARIS FASHION WEEK
Now back to the #pfw and my favourite autumn winter 2018/19 collections. First comes my beloved Escada.
ESCADA AUTUMN WINTER 2018/19
By the way, can you guess what is my favorite piece from Escada autumn winter 2018/19 collection?
Ps. Shop my Spring Summer Escada favourite pieces from the widget below.
ALENA AKHMADILLINA AUTUMN WINTER 2018/19
Lastly, Alena Akhmadullina autumn winter 2018/19. This luxurious collection was presented at Hotel Bristol Paris, and it was in one word stunning. It was like stepping into a fairytale or in a salon of the Winter Palace. So luxurious, decadent and opulent. I loved those embellished shoes, fur coats (probably not faux fur though), dresses, luxe sportswear and embroidery. But mostly the gorgeous fabrics and the presentation.
TRAFFIC SIGN: ARRÊT: C’EST ORANGE FOR TWEED
Actually, it should be green, as tweed is in fashion the entire year. Yes, you can start wearing tweed now and wear it until spring summer 2019. Well, who knows maybe even then.
Ps. Do you remember my photos on these black and white cubes at Palais Royal from last Autumn Winter Paris Fashion Week? Be sure to check them here.
SHOP AND WEAR MY STYLE
Ups, another outfit that I wore before. Over here, remember?
Ps. Keep reading to find my favourite fashion week outfits that I wore in Paris. Yes, there are 2 more. And believe me, much better than this one. Even though this one is lovely, isn’t it?
Don’t forget to save, pin and print this edit, and shop this tweed skirt if you don’t have it yet. Believe me, you need it now.
Finally, the fashion week gossip you love so much. So what happened in between the fashion shows? A lot! Even more than the last time. And the time before actually. From me getting drunk, twice (monkey see no evil, until the appointment at my hematologist – explaining in a brief), eating too much, hanging out with my squad, chatting with my role models, and finding out so many secrets.
C’EST VERT POUR BRUNETTE’S SQUAD
Guess what? This was my first fashion week with my squad. Unfortunately not the entire squad could make to Paris, (my dear Stella just gave birth a few days before, and others were still trying to put themselves together after the Milan fashion week, and London fashion week, well two even after the New York Fashion Week). But we did have fun with all the others, Steffy, Klara, Carmen and Elena. Too much fun I guess, as we totally forget to take photos.
Well, at least I have this one photo with my dear Carmen and Elena. Ha, this funny thing happened that evening. It was my first day of Paris Fashion Week, and I decided to see few presentations in the evening. My schedule was full actually, and so many events were going at the same time, so I really didn’t know where to go next.
Anyway, I decided to go to one showroom in Le Marais. But once I got there, I noticed I was either too late or too early. Well, after checking my calendar and seeing the empty glasses of champagne I realised I was too late, so I decided to get a new Uber and head on to the next showroom. Anyway, after 10 minutes the Uber comes, I sit in and guess who is there, sitting next to me? My friend Carmen!
I mean what are the odds? From all the Ubers driving around, I got the same one as my friend Carmen, and we weren’t even meant to go to the same event. Actually, I didn’t even know she was in Paris already. Obviously, I had to change my plans and join Carmen.
So we went to this German-Swiss showroom to see the presentations of a bunch of German, Swiss and Austrian designers and bumped into another member of my squad, Elena. That cutie in camel coat on my left. Carmen is on my right, in a pink coat.
SHOP AND WEAR MY SQUAD’S STYLE
Actually, I forgot to ask my girls what brands are they wearing, but I found similar pieces for you. Check them in the widget below the photo. Oh and I’m wearing a denim jacket with this dark floral dress under the coat.

OMG I GOT DRUNK
You know what they say, your true friends are those who hold your hair when you vomit. Luckily I had my hair up, but still. Thanks so much, Barri and the rest of my #cd babes without you I probably wouldn’t get back to the hotel the other night.
The thing is that I got drunk. For the first time and right when there were so many of my role models hanging around me. You can only imagine how embarrassed I felt. Hopefully, I didn’t make any scenes. Or did I? As far as I remember not. Surely @margoandme would know better. And yes, Jenny Cipoletti is as adorable and fun in real life as she appears on her Instagram. So happy I finally met you, Jenny!
Back to me being drunk. Yes, it was my first time. Only that it happened two nights in a row. First at this after party at club Silencio, you probably know this place. It’s one of the most known nightclubs in Paris. Only when it’s not. Freleva, remember? Ha, anyway, I only got one single cocktail that night, and I felt so dizzy I couldn’t even stand. Luckily I managed to get to that cinema room and sit for like almost an hour, watching the promo video of the Spinn autumn-winter 2018/19 collection on and on.
I still wonder if there was something else but the alcohol in my drink. I mean my blood is bad, but that bad? Well actually it is, but still. Those 8 croissants I ate should do their work, right? And yes 8. But more about what I ate during this Paris fashion week a bit later. First, we need to check my last fashion week outfit.
SOCKS AND SANDALS, WAIT for TIGHTS AND PUMPS
Surely this is my favourite outfit that I wore this #pfw. And I even had my hair done by professionals. Darja and I went to get our hair done by L’Oreal Paris glam team at Stylista hair bar. What a great idea L’Oreal! And we got so much fun. It was a presentation of the new L’Oreal collection actually. The L’oreal stylist used Stylista #braid (shop here) and Stylista #curls (shop here) for my hair. You can find the entire collection in the widget below though. I especially love the Stylista #bun to make a legit ballerina bun.
We actually won Stylista #bun gel spray in a fun game, you know that toy machine where you had to grab a product behind the glass using the game stick? Well, the box was full of L’Oreal Stylista products this time. And Lollipops. I got one of those. But Darja was much better and got a Stylista #bun spray for both of us.
BE SURE TO SHOP AND WEAR MY STYLE
Almost forgot about this outfit that I’m wearing here. Well, you know this denim jacket, as I wore it with the tulle skirt over here, and the pumps as I mentioned them earlier. You can shop my outfit from the EDIT and the widget above.
MORE ABOUT #PFW AND MORE TO READ
So what I ate during autumn winter 2018/10 Paris Fashion Week/ In short, everything that looks to pretty to eat. Luckily all the sweets I ate during this #pfw didn’t show on my body. So my body is more than ready for that tight 80s spring summer 2018 fashion trends. Anyway, check this post here to find out more about my diet during Fashion Week. And no, not all I ate was that unhealthy. As Jenny’s mom says, one croissant a day keeps the doctor away. Only that I had 8, plus all that macarons. Oh, the fashion month. Still, it seems I wasn’t the only one enjoying the French patisseries with no limit.
As it goes to all the autumn winter 2018/19 fashion trends, the entire list is coming soon. Well, hopefully not that soon. We don’t want the summer to end before even starting, right? So the end of Agust should be fine, don’t you think? Ps. Let me know if you want me to share the entire AW 2018/19 fashion report sooner. I promise to do my best and post at least a glimpse of it before you come back from your summer vacations. Until then be sure to download my SS 2018 Fashion report over here. Oh and be sure to check my favourites of fall winter 2018/19 Escada collection as well.
