This is What Bree Van de Kamp Would Wear in 2020
Feminine Outfit that Will Make You Look Like a Legit Housewife When Going to the Farmer's Market
I know, we are too young to dress like a Bree Van de Kamp, but if you want to show the ladylike side of you, she is a good inspiration. Also if you want your guy to believe you would be a good wife. Read if you are looking for a feminine outfit that would make him get that ring out of his pocket and ask you to marry you. Well, guess what? Here is a summer outfit Bree Van de Kamp would wear in 2020. And a summer outfit that might just help you convince your guy you are a marriage material. Because, this black midi lace skirt, linen top, strappy sandals, cat-eye sunglasses and the basket bag are the most feminine and fashionable outfit you could wear for the grocery shopping at the local market this summer. Why the farmer’s market? Read and you will see!
I don’t know about you, but I recently became fond of Saturday shopping at the local grocery market. Grabbing my basket bag, and running down the street to get to the Plecnik’s Market. And later walking around the stands filled with fresh grocery and fruit that was just picked from the trees a few hours ago, and then bartering for a good price with witty farmers. All this makes me feel more adult than running my own company.
Not sure why, though. Perhaps because it makes me feel I’m able to take care of myself. Or maybe it’s just because of this feminine outfit I like to wear every time I go shopping grocery at the marketplace on the early summer morning. Well, you must admit I really look like a legit housewife in this outfit, don’t I?
WHAT TO WEAR WHEN GOING SHOPPING TO THE LOCAL MARKET
Remember I already wrote about what to wear for shopping at the local market? A few months ago, still in the winter, to be precise. It was when I showed you how to look chic when shopping for grocery. I was wearing that chic camel coat from Escada, that made me look like the chicest housewife in Ljubljana.
BLACK MIDI LACE SKIRT
Starting with the black midi lace skirt this time. The most fashionable skirt from last Paris Haute Coutre week. As said, the A-style flare midi skirt is back in fashion.
Yes, we are slowly swapping our pleated midi skirts for a classic A-style midi skirt like the one I’m wearing. This one is not new, but you can get a similar black midi skirt here.
Not to forget, check how to style this skirt for fall brunch with his parents.
LINEN CROP TOP
What would summer be without something linen, right? I must admit, I’m not really a fan of linen as it likes to crease too much. But a linen crop top is another story. In short, if you want to wear linen, but you hate creases like I do, then wear only a linen top instead of going all in linen.
This linen top that I’m wearing here is actually a part of the linen set. It comes with linen shorts. I got it from Storets. You can find similar linen crop top here.
SANDALS
Writing about the sale … my Stuart Weitzman high shine nudistsong sandals are on sale too! Yes, these ones that I’m wearing here with the black midi skirt and linen top. Get them here!
Ps. Even though high shine metallic sandals might look a little too much for farmer’s market I wouldn’t want to wear any other shoes with this outfit. It’s the strappy metallic sandals that make this feminine outfit city ready.
Whatsoever, if you are just snooping around the farmer’s market while on your vacation in France, then swap heels for ballet pumps (these here) or espadrilles (these) if you are in Apulia.
Mentioning Italy and vacation, have you seen those fashionable feminine summer dresses I picked for a romantic getaway?
BASKET BAG
Lastly, the trophy bag of the summer. The basket bag. This one is from Nannacay.
Since there was so much said about the basket bag only a link where to get it (shop here), and another way how to style it (check how to wear basket bag from beach to bar this time).
MORE SUMMER FEMININE FASHIONABLE LOOKS AND MORE SUMMER PLEASE
What do you think about fashion going from feminism back to feminine? Do you prefer feminine style and romantic midi skirts or powerful, bold suits? I prefer suits and more chic French Je m’en fous looks. Still, since a linen crop top adds a chic French flair to any black midi lace skirt, I love walking around in this feminine fashionable outfit. Especially for the farmer’s market or Sunday brunch.
