I told you I’m wearing pumps today. And I’m pretty sure you will want to ditch your boots, even if only for a day after you read this too. Do you hear jingle bells jingling? It’s the holiday season party, and before you know, it will be time you put on your satin pumps and dance all night. And cure your blisters the next morning. Well, not my problem. And if you follow my example, this won’t be your problem either. Besides pumps look so chic with the long coat on chic long snakeskin print dress. Yes, it’s this dress we are talking about today.
I won’t ask you if you remember the blue satin pumps, because I’m sure you do. But do you remember this stunning snakeskin print dress? It’s time we wear them again. Both! The long snakeskin print dress and the pumps.

WEARING PUMPS IN WINTER IS OK, YOU KNOW? AND THIS IS WHY
Who cares if it’s December anyways. There is no fashion rule that would say you have to ditch your pumps and breezy dresses come December. Especially when the Christmas tree is decorated with fall leaves, and we are blessed with dry and sunny weather. Besides, this long snakeskin print dress that I’m wearing is not a breezy dress at all.
So what exactly am I wearing on this dry and somewhat warm winter day?
WHAT AM I WEARING THIS ON A WARM WINTER DAY
In short, I’m not wearing anything new. Just this fashionable snakeskin print dress from Zara that you saw me wearing with the chunky sneakers a while ago (over here, in case you have missed). I told you it’s a must have.
Checking that blog post again, you will see I styled this long shirt dress in snakeskin print with a chic black boyfriend blazer. Anyway, it is the beginning of winter now, so I swapped the blazer with my favourite long wool coat from Weekend Max Mara.
Besides, this is one of the two most fashionable ways of styling a dress for 2019. Ps. More about the 2019 staying trends is coming up on Brunette from Wall Street soon.
Oh, and yes, this romantic winter outfit would look even better and more fashionable if I wore a longer coat. You know, the coat trends for 2019, right?
While my coat off-white double-breasted coat is a classic one, there are these stylish coats that would, as said, make this romantic winter outfit look even more fashionable. Ps. Click here to open my coat trend report in a new tab. To read it later, of course.
Still, who needs a fashionable coat when wearing these gorgeous blue pumps. I sure don’t! My blue satin Gianvito Rossi pumps (shop here) are just all. Not only, they match the books on this adorable book stand, but they only match the snakeskin print perfectly.
Lastly, the Forzieri blue leather gloves (shop here). Well, what should I say about these gloves? It’s winter and gloves are a must. Moreover, I’m browsing through the dusty pages of old classical books.
SHOP AND WEAR MY ROMANTIC WINTER OUTFIT
Enough talking, it’s time for shopping. Here are all the links you want to click on. Starting from those in the fashion cheat sheet below (click inside the pink brackets). Ps. Be sure to save, pin, print and share this fashion cheat sheet. Who knows, maybe we will be able to wear this romantic winter outfit on repeat all winter long.
Well, even if not, there is always a new season coming. And since the snakeskin print is here to stay for more than just a while, I’m pretty sure you will want to take a quick look at this fashion cheat sheet again.
SNAKESKIN PRINT DRESS
As said, this long shirtdress in snakeskin print dress comes from Zara. You can get it here. Ps. If you are not really a Zara girl, well neither am I, or prefer leopard over snakeskin print, check this Mango dress here.
And also this snake printed midi dress from TWIN-SET. The colour of the snake print is different. Although more fashionable than the grey snake print I’m wearing. You know, neutrals are the new black this season. Ps. See what I mean in the AW18/19 colour trend report over here.
Also, browse through the widget below to find more snake print shirtdresses that look like the one I’m wearing.
Again, I’m wearing Weekend Max Mara double-breasted coat in off-white. You can shop similar Max Mara here.
You can get blue Gianvito Rossi pumps over here. Not in satin like mine, but in suede. But hey, suede sounds even better for winter. Cold or not, it is winter after all.
Only the gloves and a bag this time. You can shop my short blue leather gloves here, or get a pair of long leather gloves over here. Although I recommend you to blink on one eye and forget just how much the long gloves are fashionable right now and get the short ones. Long gloves won’t look good on the shirtdress. Because of that button on the sleeve. You know what I mean? Details matter.
MORE WAYS TO WEAR PUMPS IN WINTER
So are you in my team pumps or boots right now? Don’t worry; both are fine. If you check my Instagram and LIKEtoKNOW.it feed, you will see I wear this snakeskin print dress with hiking boots too. Ps. This look is coming up on Brunette from Wall Street in the styling report very soon. Meanwhile, go and see this post. Team pumps or not, you must see how to wear pumps for work in winter. Believe me, that look will shock you.
