Ruffled Shades of Blue
Pink might be the hot colour of the season everyone is wearing right now. But fashionistas have some other colour on the spot right now. Yes, after the Dior’s last fashion show, there is the new colour in the town. And you know it well. It’s blue!
MY STYLE
After wearing all pink on Wednesday, going for something less girly was quite refreshing. Even so, it is almost impossible to escape from the girly, princess’ mood this season and stay fashionable. Sure, you can wear stripes all over, but let’s be honest, looking like you just escaped from the jail might be a little too much after a week or so. Besides this trend isn’t going anywhere for a while. For months to be exact. Anyway, enough about stripes for now. But do check my previous striped outfits over here and here.
Now let’s move on to something much more fun. The ruffles. I don’t know about you, but when thinking about ruffles, the first thing that comes to my mind is that dancer emoji. You know what I mean. That dancer in the red ruffled dress. Surely, not kind of dress I would want to wear. Still, the vibes are on point. Ruffles, frill, and fun.
MY FRIDAY OUTFIT
My first outfit this Friday is chic and casual. And once for a change doesn’t come in black and white but in blue. In different shades of blue. And about the ruffles? Well, they are barely there. Yet, enough to claim this outfit fashionable and stylish. Perfect to wear on a casual weekday for a stroll through the city or to the airport (like I wore it here). Don’t you think?
As you can see I’m wearing a blue trench coat and the so-called ugly mum jeans by A.P.C. I wore some time ago in here with white embellished sneakers. This time I’m wearing them with Isabel Marant wedge sneakers. Luckily for me, they are back on the streets. I knew they will come back. I mean, who can wear flats all the time.
Back to what I’m wearing. I finished my look with the black mini bag from DKNY, sunglasses and blue gloves, of course.
SHOP AND WEAR MY STYLE
I get commission for purchases or clicks made through links in this post.
Finding a ruffled blue coat is almost a mission impossible. Not for me, though. I found some. You can browse through them in the gallery. Be sure to click them for a better look. I also added some other blue ruffled clothes and accessories I love. I’m sure you will see why.
As usual, you can pin and download THE EDIT. You should stick it on your closet door to be the first thing you see when you are getting dressed in the morning. This way you won’t ever say you have absolutely nothing to wear.
WRAPPING UP
On days like this, when you feel all grown up and want to ditch that candy shades and swap them for something more adult but still fun, the blue ruffles are all you need. Put on different shades of blue, combine them with some black and naturals. And don’t forget the frills.
Be sure to save your time looking for the ruffled blue outfit and check my blue selection in the gallery above. Ps. Can you guess my favourite shade of blue?
Finally, as said this is just the first outfit I’m wearing this Friday. Wait to see my afternoon outfit. The one I’m wearing to Odprta kuhna. No idea what I’m talking about? Make sure to come back to see. Or go to my Instagram and see it now.
