FASHION STORY EASTER EGG HUNT

It’s early morning. Not an ordinary early morning, though. It’s the morning full of life, delights, and magic. It’s Easter morning, and everyone seems full of excitement. The baby birds are having a morning concert, and I’m there wandering through the woods dressed in my new red and pink striped cropped top and black midi skirt. I take a deep breath, kneel to smell the little blossoms and pick up that sweet chocolate egg that is hiding in the grass.

As I move forward, I see little white daisies having a bath in the morning dew. And then I spot a small yellow butterfly popping the water drop when landing on the prettiest little daisy. Ray florets lightly mingle and the water splashes around, while that charming yellow butterfly makes its first suck of sweet nectar.

I twirl around and catch small drops of morning dew on the lace of my black midi skirt and wet my pale pink sneakers. I try to get the small water drops from my skirt. But as I twirl again, they splash up to my pink and red striped crop top, too.

Then, I spot something pink popping up in the grass a few steps away. “I found a pink one. Wait, there is another one!” Yes, I found another chocolate egg. I pick them up and put them both in my basket. Happy, because I’m so good at this Easter Egg hunt.

Finally, my basket is full of sweet chocolate Easter Eggs. I sit on to the nearest stump and unwrap one of my chocolate Easter Eggs. Do I eat it? Well, let’s call it the Easter Secret. After all, I’m wearing that pink and red striped crop top for a reason.

WHAT TO WEAR FOR THE EASTER EGG HUNT

You can make your Easter Egg hunt so fun and fashionable at the same time. Just look at this pink and red striped crop top from House of Holland and this black midi skirt that I’m wearing. They are all. You know what I mean. Chic and cropped. Not mentioning red and pink colors. What more do you want from your spring sweater, right? So many fashion trends on this tiny sweater. Ps. Be sure to check the latest fashion trends, if you have been in the woods for the last few months, looking for some chocolate eggs or tracking down the Easter bunny, and don’t know what I’m writing about.

EASTER OUTFIT

Keep writing about this pink and red striped crop top that I almost forgot to mention the other things that I’m wearing. As said, I styled my striped crop top (shop similar with short sleeves here or sleeveless here) with the black midi skirt (buy similar skirt here) and Puma pale pink sneakers (shop Puma sneakers here). Yes, the one you saw me wearing before.

Obviously, I’m not carrying a bag this time. Although thinking better I should have rather taken my Nannacay bag (buy here). This bucket bags and straw bags are so adorable. Way much more than my old straw basket to be honest.

Finally, I finished my look with the pink leather gloves (shop here). Oh, as it goes for the makeup and the fragrance that I’m wearing. No perfume for me this time. I swapped my favorite fragrance for a repellent.

BEHIND THE SCENES

I need to share some funny things about this Easter Egg Hunt. Honestly, this was my first Easter Egg hunt in my life. I guess most Slovenians don’t know this game at all. Well, at least my parents don’t.

Anyway, I think I did quite well for the first time. I mean, I came back home with a basket full of chocolate eggs. I lost three chocolate eggs in the woods, though. One slipped off my hand when I was trying to get it out from under the logs. Well, wait, here is what actually happened.

I spotted an egg hiding between two logs. I tried to get it out, but then I slipped. Seems like wearing high heels wouldn’t be that bad idea at all. You know what I mean. Oh, those Fendi ankle boots! Anyway, as I slipped and fell on the ground, that sneaky chocolate Easter Egg rolled under one of the logs. Obviously, I couldn’t show you that photo. It’s so embarrassing. You can have a photo of a fake egg instead. I really wanted a photo of me finding an egg under the logs. So I simply took one of the chocolate eggs from my basket and placed it there. And pretend to found that one instead.

Oh, about the other two chocolate eggs that I lost as well. Hold on; I didn’t really lose them. They have been stolen from me. And you know who stole it? Worms! Can you imagine! I placed that cute pink and yellow eggs on the log, and while I was flipping my hair, three worms came up and attacked my Chocolate Easter eggs. Luckily they only ate two of my eggs. And I can still say I won this Easter Egg Hunt.
