Well, in case you spent all your money on ice cream instead of getting a plaid blazer. I know watching me eating that delicious ice cream must have been tempting. Anyway, if you haven’t bought the plaid blazer, you should get it know for sure.

It will be your staple office blazer all summer long. In fact, you will wear it every time a denim jacket won’t make you look fancy enough. You know what I mean? STRIPED SHIRTDRESS THAT ALL NY CHIC GIRLS HAVE IT AND NOW IT’S TIME YOU GET IT TOO

As said, we wear that plaid blazer we bought last month with a chic striped shirtdress now. You know what, I bet Meghan Markle, pardon the Duchess of Sussex wears it now, instead of her beloved boyfriend shirt, as well. Afterall, the striped shirtdress is one of the fashionistas’ favourite dresses this season. Not mentioning this dress has been a staple NY’s dress since chic became popular. Read always!

Again, if you don’t have a plaid blazer yet. Although I doubt you don’t. This blazer has been in fashion for a while now and good news, it’s here to stay for another year! Well until the end of autumn/winter 2018/19 for sure. We don’t know about spring summer 2019 yet. But I will let you know in October when I come back from Paris after the fashion month.

Still, life shouldn’t be only about work, and you need a dress for daily errands too. Not mentioning drinks and brunches with your friends. You do want to be the chicest girl at the table, right?

HOW TO ACCESSORIES THE PLAID BLAZER

I bet you already know how? Especially if you read my spring summer 2018 trend report (here). This year we wear everything with a dangling belt. Yes, you read this right. Get a belt, secure it with the tongue buckle and then let the excess material to dangle. Or get a belt like the one I’m wearing. This one is from Slovenian designer Susnyara. And I have no idea where to get it now. I guess by contacting her in person.

Still, there are far more exciting belts out there you can wear with any dress. Although I must say, I love mine as well. Surely you know this, you save me wearing it just the other day with a denim jacket and red dress too.

Also, don’t forget to grab a bag and put on sunglasses. You know, your future is too bright.

As it goes for the shoes. I must confess I made a fashion faux pas here. And yes I will deny this if you bring it up again. But this plaid blazer and striped shirtdress would look better with chic slingbacks, don’t you think?
