WIDE-LEG STRIPED TROUSERS AND BLACK BLAZER MAKE A STYLISH RELAXED SUIT, DON’T YOU THINK?

A few words more about my relaxed suit. As said and seen in the collage above, I matched my wide-leg striped trousers with a non-matchy black blazer.

The reason why? Stripes are not in style in 2019. Sorry, to tell you this only now and not already at the begging. But, hey, I did tell you that you can still wear striped pants this season and look fashionable.

You just need to combine striped pants with a nonmatching blazer. This black jacquard blazer from Dolce & Gabbana (shop here) is a great choice. Also, this chic black blazer from Sandro – must have + affordable (buy here).

SHOES TO WEAR WITH STRIPED PANTS

Wondering what shoes to wear with striped pants in 2019? I can only come up with one style suggestion right now. Platform pumps. Yes, you read it right. Wear your new striped pants with platform pumps. But not too high if you are wearing this relaxed suit for work.

Whatsoever, platforms are in style now. I’m wearing a pair of brown platform heels from Michael Michael Kors. However, the platform pumps you saw in the fashion cheat sheet above are from Saint Laurent, and you can shop them here.

Still, any of these platform pumps (they are not too high for the office) go great with blue and white striped pants. Or black and white striped pants. One hue up or down.
