Let me guess you have February 14th already fully scheduled. There is not even half of an hour blank spot from morning till evening. And you just got a bouquet of red roses with a little invitation for the romantic dinner on February 14th from your boy.

And now, with the invitation in one hand and iPhone in another, you are looking for a way to work it all out. To have everything done at work ahead of the time. Or to find a legit excuse to leave job earlier so you could get ready for Valentine’s date.

Well, you can stop thinking about excuses now. And better start thinking about black pantsuit, mules and hairclip. Because this is what you are wearing this Thursday. For work and for that Valentine’s date.

CAN I WEAR MY 9-5 OUTFIT FOR A VALENTINE’S DATE

Bien sûr! As said, we are wearing the same outfit all day long this Valentine’s Day. Since we don’t have time to head back home and get changed for Valentine’s date.

We are wearing the same outfit from work to Valentine’s dinner. And only making a quick stop at the mirror to pin the hairclip and put on some makeup.

But truth to be told, you can easily do the makeup in Uber on your way from the office to the restaurant.

BLACK SUIT

Probably not something you need to buy. Since being a working girl, you already have a black pantsuit. Nevertheless, if you are looking for a new chic tuxedo, you could wear from the office to the street, from work to the bar, here is where to shop it.

If you are looking for separates, then click here to shop the blazer (affordable), or similar jacquard blazer to the one I’m wearing here.

To get black straight pants click here. Or here in case, some other boss lady steals your size.

BLACK TOP

You can’t see well since my tux is all buttoned up, but I’m actually wearing a black sweatshirt under the blazer. Yes, I overslept and had no time to button up a black shirt or even less to iron a blouse. So I just put on a black sweatshirt.

You also saw me wearing this black sweatshirt for a Friday brunch with dark blue jeans and blue pumps over here.

As it goes for the makeup. Here is all that I’m wearing for Valentine’s date. Giorgio Armani Power fabric (shop here), Bobby Brown highlighter (shop here), Dior eyebrow pencil (get here). Furthermore, Burberry eyeshadows (shop here), Chanel mascara (this one here), Tom Ford lip lacquer (get here), Dior blush (buy here), Chanel Les 4 Ombres eyeshadows (purchase here).

Let me check if I forgot anything else. Oh, nail polish. I’m wearing Catrice nail polish that I stole from my sister after I realised my Chanel 638 Profondeur is empty. But I don’t recommend it. It doesn’t dry well. Plus, it’s ugly. If you are looking for dark nail polish, you could wear for a night out as well as for work – shop this one instead. I’m getting a new bottle too.
