Here is what to pack for summer in Europe.

1 SHORTSLEEVE KNITS

Look for a bit of stretch in pieces that are travel friendly but still look chic. A short sleeve cardigan or a short sleeve sweater are an easy addition to your hand luggage that can be dressed down or styled up with a matching skirt or shorts.

2 MINI SKIRT AND TAILORED SHORTS

Ps. Opt for tweed shorts if you are travelling to Vienna, Ljubljana or Berlin and chic linen shorts for Rome and Paris. Wearing pastel tweed shorts in Paris might be a cliché if you are American.

3 SHORT DRESS

Go easy with lace and linen short dresses that fall softly around the body and fly out with the wind. This is the photo moment you have been waiting for by the Colosseum.

4 WIDE-LEG PANTS

Tell me, is there anything worse than pants sticking to your tights on a hot summer day, right when you find yourself queuing for the Eiffel Tower or Colosseum? I don’t think so. Luckily, wide-leg pants solve this problem. Plus, make you look stylish every time. Ps. Wide-leg pants are hardly ever out of style.

5 TRENCH COAT

Summers in Europe are usually warm, but not entirely without rain. Make sure you take a trench coat on your European travel. Ps. To save your luggage space, wear a trench coat to the airport.

With suitcase space being limited, a cute co-ord set is the smartest option to pack – especially for Italy. Mix and check with other separates like a European and create a variety of looks.
