Can you wear white for a night out? Bien sure. That is why we have a nuit blanche, Noche en Blanco, white night, right? Well not really. But it turns out that white is just perfect for clubbing. But wait, it’s not the little white dress that I have in mind. No, it’s the little, well better write short white suit that happens to be the number one party outfit this summer. Here is how to wear white for a night out.
WHAT TO WEAR FOR LA NUIT BLANCHE
So … about last night. I probably don’t even need to say we had a nuit blanche last night. I mean looking at this photos you can tell I had a restless night. And a sleepless morning as our clubbing didn’t end up when the club closed and we were asked to leave. But with this photo shooting after a quick stop at the bakery.
Gluten and buzz? Not a great way to end this busy week, but hey at least I got to test if this short white suit can officially become one of the outfits that I wear all day long, from morning till, well the next morning. From the office to the street, from the street to the club. And back to the street.
THE CHICEST FASHION IT GIRLS WEAR WHITE FROM MORNING TILL MORNING
Clearly, this short white suit didn’t pass the first part of the test as it’s not a suit you could wear for the office. But it certainly passed the rest of the test and turned out to be my favourite clubbing outfit ever. And the morning after the outfit.
All I can add to this clubbing outfit now is where you can shop it. Don’t blame me, but a night out in whites turned out to be more restless than in any other outfit. Not sure if this short white suit has actually anything to do with that, but since everyone wanted to dance with me last night, there must be something about this look.
Plus, I’m writing this while eating this croissant. Ps. Not as good as the one from La Grande Épicerie de Paris.

YES, YOU CAN GO CLUBBING IN WHITE
WHITE SHORT SUIT
Actually, I didn’t get this short white suit as a suit. This white blazer and white tailored shorts come as separates. Yes, that is why you find this white blazer familiar. You saw it last over here, with a pink cocktail dress.
As it goes to these white tailored shorts. Yes, this is my first time wearing these white shorts. I got them from Storets (shop here) or Balmain white shorts here. And I love them. Primarily because of that elastic waist that makes them look like they were made just for me. They also have a zipper that makes them perfect as the bottom part of a white suit.
I’m wearing a lacy silk slip top under my white blazer. It’s like the one I wore with jeans but in other colour. I actually have 4 slip tops like this one but in different colours. A slip top merely is a must-have. And if you find one made of silk you just shouldn’t think twice. But buy it at once. Shop this Aubade silk slip top here.
Forget all about what I wrote about wearing heels with shorts because that doesn’t stand for a night out. When you wear a short white suit as a little white dress for clubbing, there are no rules.
Although these minimalistic metallic sandals sure look the best. My high shine sandals are from Stuart Weitzman (shop here).
Since I love wearing white outfits this summer seeing more of on Brunette from Wall Street shouldn’t be a surprise to you. Besides, I just proved a short white suit is perfect for a night out clubbing too and a wedding. By the way, what do you wear for a nuit blanche? A little white dress or little white suit like me? And what do you crave for after clubbing all night long?
