1 LONG WOOL COAT ON RED SWEATER WITH LOW WAIST WIDE-LEG PANTS AND MARRY JANES

Visualise leaving your apartment wrapped in the LouLou Studio long black coat. The luxurious wool blend (btw this coat is made of double-face 90% virgin wool and 10% of cashmere and it’s so warm) envelopes you in warmth, and the minimalistic design exudes the latest coat trend. A long coat with dropped shoulders is the most fashionable coat for winter 2024.

Heading down the bustling streets, the Sézane red Gaspard cardigan, repurposed as a sweater, radiates a pop of color amidst the monochrome cityscape. The knit weave invites a sense of coziness, and the vivid red hue is a striking contrast against the concrete jungle. Your new Ba&Sh dark wide-leg pants (mine are dark grey – these are black) billow slightly, capturing the attention of passersby.

The Rouje black patent leather Mary Jane pumps echo purposefully on the pavement, adding a melodic rhythm to your stride. Pov, they don’t make a loud sound – they have leather soles, but you are supposed to fit a permanent pad on the front of the shoe at the shoemaker’s after one or two uses. I haven’t done this yet, and I don’t think I will. After 30 uses, they are still ok. And I have walked a lot. I guess is just the way I walk. Anyway, back to you.

The multiple straps on the shoes glint in the morning light, and capture the urban energy around. As you pass through the shadows cast by towering buildings, the city begins to awaken. The crisp air carries a sense of anticipation, and you feel a blend of determination and excitement for the day ahead.

2 DOUBLE BREASTED COAT WITH BLACK TURTLENECK WOOL TOP AND WIDE-LEG JEANS WITH SNEAKERS

The city is alive with the hustle and bustle of a new day. And you, wrapped in the timeless elegance of your new Max Mara double-breasted coat, and the luxurious black virgin wool turtleneck top (also Max Mara) underneath that give you a cozy shield against the biting cold. The A.P.C. Paris dark grey sailor jeans, wide-leg and cuffed (as fashionable at the moment), add a touch of casual chic to your fit.

And on your head, a red headband adorns your hair, adding a pop of color to the outfit while framing your face with a touch of playful charm. Point of view, the headband could be green to match your New Balance sneakers, but I know you are that girlie in Salomon sneakers.

Skyscrapers pierce the sky, their reflective surfaces capturing the soft glow of the early morning sun. The cool breeze tugs at your coat, but its warmth keeps you shielded.

Approaching the coffee stand, the rich scent of freshly brewed coffee lingers in the air. Despite the tempting display, you resist the urge to place an order. Instead, you mentally note your coffee preference, knowing well that your assistant will soon be tasked with bringing you the perfect cup. The decision to bypass the stand is a calculated move, preserving your Max Mara coat. Ps. In case you simply can’t walk away without a cup in your hand, order a matcha latte. I have split matcha on this coat, and it was ok after I wiped the drops off. Do it for the plot, or with your coffee decision in your mind resume your way with the anticipation of the workday ahead mingling with the chill in the air.

3 RED CARDIGAN SWEATER WITH CUFFED GREY JEANS AND HIGH BOOTS

As you push through the revolving glass doors of Westfield World Trade Center, a wave of warmth greets you, both from the temperature-controlled interior and the admiring glances of passersby. Wrapped in the Sézane red Gaspard cardigan (it’s already a Tuesday, so you wear it as a cardigan today), its rich hue catching the ambient light, you exude a confident grace. The fuzzy texture of the cardigan not only shields you from the cold but also adds a tactile dimension to your fit.

Your A.P.C. Paris dark grey sailor jeans, wide-leg and cuffed just right (they are still good for casual business dress code), look chic and fashionable. The deep, charcoal shade complements the bold red of the cardigan, creating a fashion forward contrast.

The black knee-high boots (I’m wearing Rouje in the video below, but also have a pair from Aquazzura that I love so much – therefore I’m linking both for you) are a statement in themselves, completing the look cohesively. Their sleek design and knee-high length keep you warm while adding a sense of urban chic.

You look fashionable and feel confident, your posture straightening as you walk to the elevator. The natural light filtering through the glass ceiling accentuates the vibrancy of the colors, making your outfit stand out even more. The reflective surfaces showcase your impeccable style, and you catch glimpses of approving smiles from those you pass.

As you approach the elevator, you catch sight of yourself in the mirrored panels, and the fashionable cohesion of your outfit leaves you with a satisfied smile. The elevator doors open with a soft ‘ding,’ and as you step in.

COLD WEATHER CASUAL BUSINESS OUTFITS FOR A COLD OFFICE

You enter the office, and the office is cold! Did the heating go off? Unlikely! They are just saving with the energy.

Point of view, you might need more than just two comfortable cold weather business casual outfits you can wear if you work from home. From a very cold home. But let’s stick to the plot and return to your office.

4 CABLE KNIT TURTLENECK SWEATER WITH WIDE-LEG PANTS AND UGG MINI PLATFORM BOOTS

For moments when comfort is key, but the attitude remains essential, look to a chic fall to winter work outfit with Uggs. And wide-leg puddle pants that hide your favourite Ugg mini platform boots, of course.

The dress code might be casual business, and you are wearing Uggs just for the plot, but they need to stay hidden. These wide-leg wool flannel pants will do the job. Ps. I bought them in size UK4, but have them taken in. The size is true, so take your normal size.

Style with this 100 % virgin wool cable knit sweater made from exceptionally ultrasoft cashmere.

5 TURTLENECK SWEATER WITH JEANS AND POINTY FLATS

If you are working from home, look to a chic fall to winter work outfit Audrey Hepburn would wear if she worked from home.

Point of view, she would wear a turtleneck sweater with cropped jeans and pointy flats with a headband for her corner office, too.

And so can you! I added a cute pink coat you can layer on this outfit if you need to stop by at the office.

BUSINESS FORMAL COLD WEATHER OFFICE OUTFITS

As the days get colder, we all need something warm and soft. From gorgeous coats to comforting knit dresses and wool pantsuits, these are the best options to get you through the cold weather ahead.

6 DOUBLE BREASTED COAT WITH BLACK PANTSUIT AND PUMPS

Powerfully pretty, a black pantsuit has never felt this elated. Effortless yet impactful, pair your new black pantsuit with exquisite pumps in pink. POV Colorful shoes will cheer you up on foggy days.

7 SLIM FIT PANTSUIT WITH ANKLE BOOTS AND TRENDY HANDBAG

The clock inches towards 10:15, and you gather your notes and laptop, ready for the important meeting ahead. As you stand up from your desk, the black slim fit pantsuit and ankle boots make a statement, signaling to everyone around that you mean business.

Heading to the meeting room, the corridor is a blend of focused colleagues rushing to and fro, each lost in their own world of deadlines and projects. Your outfit, however, cuts through the hustle, exuding a sense of purpose and confidence.

The meeting room door swings open, and you step in. The sleek lines of your pantsuit and the subtle click (pov, you will need to intentionally make noise – these By Far booties have smooth leather soles and don’t make any noise) of your ankle boots command attention. Colleagues look up from their seats, their eyes briefly lingering on your poised demeanor. The air in the room shifts, and you take your place at the table, ready to contribute and lead.

8 RED SWEATER WITH LONG PENCIL SKIRT AND KNEE HIGH BOOTS

Seize the trend and wear a long pencil skirt for work when transitioning into winter. You can wear it with the Sézane cardigan sweater from earlier – worn as a sweater. Or be even smarter and buy this Red Valentino sweater made of wool, silk and cashmere blend. I will buy it too!

Ps. Skirt in the product gallery is different from mine. But warmer.

Ps. Wear this chic fall to winter outfit when you need to go out after work. You can wear a going out top under the sweater and simply take the sweater off before leaving the office.

POV This fall to winter office outfit with a pink light wool coat is one of my favourite fall to winter business casual outfits. It’s just perfect for early winter when it’s not really that cold yet. Yet cold enough for a coat.
