Comfortable Christmas Brunch outfit? This is it. Yes, this is what I’m wearing when not sipping champagne late at night at the party or hitting down the slopes this holiday season. And yes, it’s fashionable too. Indeed, wool and velvet styled with some silk, tweed, and suede are in style for 2020. No wonders why this outfit is the best Christmas brunch outfit in 2020, right? By the way, have I mentioned that you can actually eat in this outfit?
Although the holiday season is the time to sparkle and shine as much as you can, and sequins are fashionable right now, we all know wearing all this glitter and sequins just isn’t comfortable. Nor feels like opening the Christmas gifts by the fireplace on the Christmas morning. And we all want to feel this Christmas spirit during the advent. Not that sequins don’t bring Christmas spirit, but Christmas is about food. Hence we should all wear something that allows us to eat.
PROMENADE DU DIMANCHE
So, I decided to leave sequins and glitter for the days after Christmas and wear more wool and velvet during the first part of these holidays. In fact, I have been wearing this outfit so many times in the last three weeks, that I feel it had slightly worn out. You know what I mean. Yet, I couldn’t think of any better outfit to wear on my morning walk through the city this Christmas season and all the brunches with my friends that I’m having this week. I can already hear my friends gossiping about my outfit and shouting omg she is wearing this velvet skirt and camel coat again! But you know what? I don’t care! It’s not like I’m wearing sweatpants and hoodie and walk around in Uggs.
Anyway, this elegant winter outfit is just too comfortable and fashionable to wear it only once. And yes, it will be like your pyjamas this holiday season. From a casual walk through the city, Christmas brunch to chilling on the couch and reading your favourite blog, while waiting for the cookies in the oven to finally bake, this outfit is just perfect.
SOFT CAMEL COAT AND PINK AS PART OF COMFORTABLE CHRISTMAS BRUNCH OUTFIT
Once for a change, I decided to keep it short, as there’s really not much to say about this comfortable, layered, fashionable Christmas brunch outfit. Besides, I wrote a lot about how to wear camel coat off duty in one of my previous blog posts over here. And you have already seen me in this pink pleated velvet skirt and over the knee boots many times.
Besides, you will see me wearing this winter outfit at least dozen of times before spring.

C AS CHRISTMAS CAMEL COAT
Undoubtedly there is no other better coat to wear during the Christmas season, especially on the Christmas morning, then a classic camel coat. In short, a camel coat is just like Christmas. It makes us happy and gives us this warm feeling. I got this precious wrap camel coat from Escada. You can get it in Escada boutique or in Escada’s online store over here. But do hurry up, this coat is selling out fast. Ps. In case you head to Escada to late, and this camel coat is already sold out, then check it here (luxury) or here (budget £50). It’s not the same coat I’m wearing, but hey, at least it’s a fashionable camel coat. You can also find some camel coats in a widget above.
Also, don’t forget to check . I put together #5 different outfits you can wear from office to street, from street to club and romantic date. And even to a market and a brunch with your friends afterwards.
I still can not believe what a bargain this pink velvet pleated midi skirt actually was. It cost me way less than $50. You can get the same skirt here or shop something more luxurious over here. Although, I must say the cheap one I’m wearing is surprisingly quality.
I told you this winter outfit is comfortable and warm. In fact, I could easily wear it for a Sunday walk from the Saint Germain to Champes the Elysee in Paris in a winter storm (well, in the rain more likely). And even for promenade du Dimanche all the way down the Rue St Catharine in Montreal. No, I’m not exaggerating. Especially not when wearing a tweed jacket under a wool wrap coat.
Yes, I’m wearing my favourite black and white tweed jacket. The same one you saw me wearing on my birthday picnic in October (by the way, thank you again for all of your wishes and gifts) and together with the IT bouse of the season and black ripped jeans over.
You can get a similar tweed jacket over here.
BLUE PUSSY-BOW SILK BLOUSE
Under the wrap camel coat and tweed blazer, I’m wearing a blue silk blouse with a bow. It comes from Iris & Ink, but you can’t get one in the same shade of blue anymore. There is the same one in navy over here or a cotton one in almost the same shade of blue that I’m wearing over here. Nevertheless, if you want to have the same shade of pussy-bow silk blouse like me, you should check this blouse here.
OVER THE KNEE BOOTS
Once again I matched this pink velvet pleated midi skirt with my beloved Stuart Weitzman Highland over the knee boots. These brown OTK boots go perfectly with pink velvet. You can shop them here or here. Again, they are running out of the stock faster than you can read. No wonders why. These over the knee boots are made for running. Yes, running and not just walking. Tested! But more about that another time.
CHRISTMAS BRUNCH OUTFIT
Ps. As said, I’m wearing this outfit for a Christmas brunch too. However, with some changes as we are planning to have our Christmas brunch at some special place where a dressing code isn’t exactly comfy and cosy.
Anyway, to make this comfortable outfit look more special, I’m swapping my over the knee boots for embellished pumps. And this tweed blazer for either a velvet blazer or embellished blazer. Well in case we end up at grandmas house, I added an embellished sweater too. You know, just in case.
Also, I’m adding some jewellery (I just realized I hadn’t worn enough jewellery in 2020, perhaps it’s time to finally stack on some gems for the new year to come). And fur scarf as it makes such a great touch.
