Still looking for the dress to wear for this Galentine’s and Valentine’s Day? Guess what, you came to the right Wall. Here’s just the outfit you were looking for the Gals night out. And #4 other outfits, in case you find a guy on the Street who will take you out on the Valentine’s Day. So yes, here are the #5 chic and most of all #5 fashionable outfits you should for a night out this week.

I must be honest with you. Up until recently, I didn’t even know Galentine’s Day is a thing. Well, yes this is why I wrote about what to do on the Valentine’s Day if you are single last year (check here) and haven’t even mentioned the Galentine’s Day at all. In fact, I’m pretty sure most of my Slovenian squad didn’t know about the Galentine’s Day either before reading this post and getting my invitation for our Gals night out. Gals day out actually. As we are partying all day long. Starting with the brunch, followed by shopping and later drinks at the club.

Anyway, more about my Gals and Galentine’s Day a bit later. First, we must discuss these polka dot tights and … sandals. Yes, I’m wearing tights and sandals. In winter! Am I crazy? One old lady, I passed by on the street in Ljubljana, thought so. Well, maybe I am, but I’m fashionable too.

SANDALS AND POLKA DOTS TIGHTS

I already wrote about this latest fashion trend in my Spring Summer 2018 Fashion Report. Ps. In case you missed it, be sure to check it out later (open here for later) to find all the latest fashion trends in one place. The sandals and socks are a big thing now. And all the legit fashionistas are pulling this trend off as I’m writing this post on the NYFW.

Still, wool socks with sandals, no matter how fashionable, are slightly too casual for a girls night out. So I decided to swap the wool socks with elegant polka dots tights this time.

GALS, DOTS AND SANDALS

Why polka dot tights and not the fishnets? Actually, I hope you are not asking yourself this question, because this would mean you really haven’t read my SS 2018 Fashion Report. And you don’t know that fishnets are passé already. Let me repeat then, fishnets are not in fashion anymore. What we are wearing this season, are the polka dots.

Yes, we swapped fishnets for polka dots. And truth to be told, polka dot tights are far more attractive and sophisticated at the same time then the fishnets. And look perfect with everything. Even the sandals.

HOW TO WEAR SANDALS WITH TIGHTS

Surely, pulling off this trend is not so easy at all. Listening to the comments of the old ladies in Ljubljana, even I might haven’t figured this out yet. Although I think she was saying this just because it’s winter. She did mention winter and sandals in the same sentence. So I guess my black tights weren’t the issue at all. Afterall women have been wearing socks and sandals in the 80s too. So in fact, this trend is nothing new.

Still, we are wearing hosiery and sandals in a completely new way this season. I mean you can’t pull off this look just by choosing random tights and the first pair of sandals you find in your closet.

Oh, mentioning the closet. I shared a secret about my dressing room with you on my Instagram, and you asked me to show you my dressing room. Good news, your wish will come true. Soon. On my Instagram. So make sure you follow me there to see what my dressing room looks like.

Whatsoever, the sandals and tights. To make this style work for Spring Summer 2018 and especially a night out with your girls, you need to wear polka dot tights and strappy sandals.

But more about this another time. We have so many things to check first. Starting with my Galentine’s Day outfit and where to shop get these black polka dot tights and metallic strappy sandals.

MY GALENTINE’S DAY OUTFIT

As said, Brunette’s Squad … By the way, this is also the name of my new Facebook group, where you can find daily looks from me and my squad, find out what we eat for our gorgeous figure, how we sweat, what we listen, where we travel, and what we do when we are not divas on the street. Be sure to join the Brunette’s Squad on Facebook here.

Anyway, back to my Galentine’s Day Outfit. Just as I said, the Brunette’s Squad is spending the Galentine’s Day out and about from the morning to … well, you know us, gals, to the next morning. Starting with the brunch in one of the poshest brunch spots in Ljubljana. After the brunch, we are off to the shopping spree till the wine o’clock. We are finishing our Galentine’s Day with a masquerade dance at the club. Yes, that’s why the masks.

Indeed there’s a busy day ahead of us. Full of glam and style. And no time for changing our outfits. Surely we could change our looks after the shopping, but I doubt there will be any time. Plus, that feeling after wearing the same outfit all day long and look glamorous after hours is simply priceless. You know what I mean.

Besides, you know I know quite well how to do this. And I believe you do too. Ps. In case you forgot all of my tips on how to wear the same outfit from morning till next morning and look like a legit fashionista, go here and read it again.

BLACK POLKA DOT TIGHTS AND STRAPPY SANDALS

You already know these sandals (last time seen here). If not from Brunette from Wall Street, or my Instagram, then you must have seen them on some other fashionista. As, us, fashion girls love these sandals from Stuart Weitzman. In fact, I don’t know any big fashion blogger who wouldn’t own at least one pair of these sandals. Yes, they come in all the colours of the rainbow.

However, the one you need to pull off the sandal and tights look, are the metallic ones. Like mine. You can shop same Stuart Weitzman sandals I’m wearing here.

I styled my high-shine nudistsong sandals from Stuart Weitzman with black polka dot tights from Falke. Shop here. But better hurry up because fashion girls are grabbing all the polka dots tights they can get these days. So you can imagine how hard they are to get. Ps. In case you come too late, and another b* (brunette who else) steals your black polka dot tights, then get there make sure you return to this post and swipe through the gallery above again. COAT AND SHADES

You know this coat so well, I probably don’t even need to say its name. Still, I’m telling it again, in case you just stepped onto my street. This pastel double-breasted coat is from Weekend Maxmara. You can get a similar one here (from Max Mara) or a cheaper version here.

It’s carnival time in Europe, so shades are a must on this Galentine’s Day. For the day I’m wearing my black Lespecs sunglasses (shop here). Remember those shades? I also wore them here.

And for the night, for the masquerade dance at the club, I’m wearing this black Venetian Masquerade Eye Mask. Shop here.

Oh, I have almost forgotten about the gloves. You can get them here.

BLACK ON BLACK

Under my pastel coat, I’m wearing a black mini skirt (shop similar on sale for only $44 from Storets here) and black silk blouse (shop similar here). I decided for this simple duo instead of a slip dress this time, as altogether would be slightly too much for a day. Nevertheless, you can find Valentine’s Day Outfit with a slip dress in the EDIT below, together with #4 other Galentine’s and Valentine’s Outfits.

WHAT TO WEAR FOR THE GALENTINE’S DAY IF YOU AND YOUR GALS ARE GOING OUT

So yes, me and my gals are having fun this Galentine’s Day. And here is what we are wearing. I came up with #5 chic and stylish outfits for each of us. Given it’s the carnival time in Europe, I also added some masks, as we are actually going to a mascarade party. Anyway, putting the mask aside, these outfits are perfect for Valentine’s Dinner too. You know, in case we find some guy that will take us out the next day.

So when you see a pink square, click on it. And a link will take you to the store, where you can shop that item. Or if this sounds slightly too complicated, just swipe through the widgets and find all the items you like there.
