After getting so many questions on what I do to look so fresh in the morning on my Instagram, I decided to finally share my tips on how to wake up with radiant, healthy-looking skin and how to get the natural glow that is so fashionable right now. I guess you will want to remember my tips before sleeping over at your friend’s house for the first time. You don’t want to scare him off the moment he wakes up, do you? Anyway, here are my tips on how to look fresh in the morning and during the day. Ps. My tips should work for you if you are in your 20s or early 30s.

I noticed there are two kinds of people. The one who always look grumpy in the morning, no matter what time they wake up. And even after an hour or more of walking around with a big mug of coffee in their hand, they still have those huge black circles under their eyes and hair all over their face. Looking like they were dragged out of their bad in the first hour of their sleep.
And then there are others, who jump out of bed, never snooze their alarm, and look so f* fresh and full of energy, even in the middle of the night.
It happens that I’m one of the “fresh” ones. And here are my #10 tips on how to look fresh in the morning #iwokeuplikethis
10 TIPS ON HOW TO GET HEALTHY GLOW AND LOOK FRESH IN THE MORNING
Starting with the most important, washing my face before and after bedtime. I read Jenner can’t sleep with a dirty face. Well, neither can I. I so feel Kendell Jenner on this one. I never ever sleep with my makeup or anything else that was there on my face during the day. You know what I mean. So I make sure I take all the makeup and all the impurities off my face before the bedtime. Sincerely, I don’t think I would be able to do this without my brush.
I always make sure my skin is well moisturised and protected. Be sure to browse through the gallery to find all the products I use. Ps. I use the only in the morning. You know, there’s no sun at night. I use all the other every morning and evening. As it comes to the mask, I apply a mask a few times per week. Don’t ask me for the exact number, because I don’t know. And it depends on my activities.
In short, I use the mask when I feel tired or had my makeup on all day long. I also use an anti-wrinkle eye cream from Dior. Well, creams. Depending on which one I can find in the store. I’m currently using the Dior Le Concentré Yeux. Yes, it’s pricy but it makes wonders. Besides, it’s always better to start using anti-wrinkle creams before you even get wrinkles. I also use a few other eye cream and eye treatments. You can read all about them in my .
Regardless of how important sleep is in general, I’m not sure getting enough sleep is the key to my beautiful, radiant skin and fresh look in the morning. Honestly, I look fresh after only three and a half hours of sleep, too. Anyway, considering me, a good night sleep and an afternoon nap is part of a healthy lifestyle. Ps. #5 COOL YOUR EYES
#6 DRINK WATER
No, I’m not drinking what you think. There is no coffee, nor tea in my cup. Neither is the fashionable matcha. What I always drink while in my bed is actually water. I keep getting thirsty during the night, so I make sure there is at least one bottle of water by my bedside. Seems like I got used to making sips during the night. I still remember how I got milkshake showers in the middle of the night back then when I was a baby. You know what I mean. Missed the mouth. Same thing happened the other day. Luckily with the water this time.
#7 EAT NONPROCESSED FOOD
Admittedly, I eat some processed food, too. Especially ice cream and candy. But I make sure almost all of my food is actually made from scratch.
#8 KEEP MOVING AND GOLFING
10 km per day either on ecliptic or around the city is a must for me. No exceptions! As it comes for the relaxing, golf is what I do. I don’t do yoga or pilates, well unless the Thai massage counts as a yoga.
#9 GO FOR MASSAGE
I absolutely need to have at least one Thai massage per month. Surely 120 minutes seem long and painful for many people, but believe me, it makes miracles. Even on your face. I still can’t believe my sister got rid of a deep line between her eyebrows.
#10 GET A HELP OF THE SKIN EXPERT
Finally, the most important thing. Honestly, you can skip all of the rest, but do follow this tip. Even though I always looked fresh in the morning and never had the dark circles or that horrendous bags under my eyes, my skin would have never looked so beautiful without a professional help coming from my dermatologist. Yes, I go for the laser treatments that prevent any breakouts on my face. In case you are wondering, my dermatologist is based in Ljubljana (DM me for her contact).
Almost forgot to mention. I also visit the Dior Institut in Paris on the Avenue Montaigne or at the Bon Marche to get the Dior Prestige Grand Facial Treatment or the Moisturising and Refreshing Treatment, when in Paris.
Well, if my tips don’t help, take my mom’s tip and ask your dermatologist for botox. Botox will make you look fresh for sure.
