Simple and Comfortable Easter City Break Outfit

Easter City Break Outfit, anyone? There is no better way to start a new week than thinking of your next travel. Easter holidays are coming soon, and I’m sure you are heading off to some beautiful place. So it’s about time you start thinking of your travel outfits. Either going to cityscape or city break you certainly don’t want to look like a typical tourist with a bucket hat, dressed in old short cargo pants, with white socks peeking from your old trainers and the camera around your neck, do you? Well perhaps you do, since all the items mentioned are actually in fashion this season. Still, I have a better Easter City Break outfit for you – something more comfortable and simple.

EASTER CITY BREAK OUTFIT THAT IS SIMPLE AND CHIC

I thought starting with the Easter City Break Outfit would be the best idea. In case you are staying home or going to your hometown this Easter. Who doesn’t want to come back home like a legit fashionista, right? Or explore some new city in style? Or perfectly blend in with locals when conquering one of the fashion cities. Paris, Milan, London, and NYC, here I come. But first, a quick stop in Ljubljana. Yes, this Easter City Break Outfit was made for Ljubljana.

WHAT TO WEAR IN LJUBLJANA

As said, my first outfit inspiration is something you should wear when coming to Ljubljana in spring. This small city in Slovenia, might not be on the fashion map just yet, bet it certainly has some potential. At least on the days when I’m strolling around.

Anyway, Ljubljana street style is a little mix of everything that you can get in Zara and H&M. Sure, you can find some designer pieces, too. However, fashionistas wearing them are usually sitting in front of posh places or hanging at the university library. Or alternatively standing in front of the camera. As far from that, you will see nothing but typical tourists, with a bucket hat, long white socks and all that. Sure, all these things happen to be somehow stylish now. But it’s not like a bucket hat and socks with sandals will be fashionable 20 months from now. But this simple Easter City Break Outfit will.

PACKING EASTER CITYSCAPE OUTFIT FOR THE CITY BREAK IN LJUBLJANA

So what to pack for your city break in Ljubljana? I guess you won’t be staying in Ljubljana for the entire weekend. So if you are staying here only for a day or perhaps two, pack this simple Easter City Break Outfit with you.

This is all you need: stripped ripped jeans (which happen to be fashionable again), ruffled blouse, a sweater, small bag, white heels or fancy flats, and sneakers, in case you decide to walk all the way from the castle back to the old part of the city. You can walk in your heels when going uphill to the castle but should put on something safer when going back. Or simply take the funicular railway.
Oh, and a coat. Although I’m wearing a wool coat in the photos, you should pack a trench coat. After all, it will warm up during the Easter holidays. Ps. Check my transitional capsule wardrobe to find more outwear that is great to wear in Ljubljana during the Easter holidays.

Ps. Don’t worry, Ljubljana is very safe. And you can wear your most valuable bags and lavish jewellery without being worried someone will steal them from you while you hang around the tourist spots.

Finally, more about my Easter city break outfit, that you can wear when coming to Ljubljana or back to your hometown. I’m hanging around the Ljubljana castle in a black and white striped outfit. A white sweater with black stripes, thin Max Mara coat and black ripped jeans from Diesel. I’m also wearing black leather gloves from Burberry, wedge sneakers from Isabel Marant and small white shoulder bag.
