BLACK LEATHER JACKET

I can’t believe I finally have it – the perfect leather jacket. A cropped leather jacket with a zip placed in the right place and with two zip-fastening pockets that add interest without making the jacket too exquisite to layer on an evening gown.

It’s from Sandro, and I bought it at Farfetch. But you can get it directly from Sandro, at Selfridges and Galeries Lafayette also.

This Sandro leather jacket is destined to become a mainstay you will reach for time and time again. It is fully lined and perfect for very cold weather. In fact, I could wear it in winter, too. Well, at least for winter in LA.

Ps. You might want to size up if you are shopping for this Sandro leather jacket to wear in winter on thick knitwear. It fits close, and I don’t believe you would like such a close fit when layering it on thick knits. I’m wearing size 0 (FR34, XS), and it fits me closer than other Sandro jackets.

Surely, I could still wear my Sandro leather jacket on thick sweaters effortlessly, but my sister, who bought the same leather jacket in her size, can’t. Whatsoever, she prefers wearing blouses with leather jackets anyways.

WHITE BOW BLOUSE

I’m wearing a mulberry silk bow blouse from &OtherStories. It’s made of high-quality mulberry silk, and it justifies the saying “soft as silk”. This &OtherStories silk blouse really feels soft – even if you wash it in the washing machine with too much fabric softener.

By the way, did you know that less softener and less detergent is more when washing clothes in the washing machine? If you add too much detergent, the clothes won’t come out as clean as they would if you used only a few drops. And if you use too much fabric softener, the clothes might come out stiff. You are supposed to use only a few drops of fabric softener and detergent.

Anyway, if you care for this &OtherStories silk blouse in the right way, it will be your softest silk blouse yet.
