Yes, this orange dress is just the IT spring dress you were looking for ever since you found out are in fashion. And no, I’m not saying this merely because of the colour. Although the bold neon orange colour is the number one thing that makes this maxi dress the best Easter dress you could even think of.
Yet, there is more about this orange lace dress that you will love once I tell you more about it.
DID WE JUST FOUND THE BEST EASTER PICNIC OUTFIT?
For me, Easter and spring are all about five colours. Green, yellow, , orange and baby blue. Everything looks prettier in one of these colours around the Easter time. I mean, not just the napkins, cake, chocolate eggs, bunnies, blanket and bone china you put in your picnic basket and bring with you to the picnic. But clothes and accessories too.
So you shouldn’t be surprised seeing me in , and during the Easter holidays. Especially not at the Easter picnic. Because I really do believe this is the most stylish yellow-orange Easter picnic outfit in 2020.
EASTER PICNIC IN ORANGE DRESS? YES!
See? I told you, this orange outfit is just perfect for Easter picnic.
But wait! Before you click on the dress and buy it with immediate delivery, right on time for your Easter picnic, there is more you need to know. And yes, I mean how to style this orange dress. You don’t want to look like a carrot when wearing this orange dress, do you?
Because this could happen to you when wearing an orange dress. Sure the chocolate bunny won’t eat you even if you turn out looking like an orange carrot, but feeling this way could spoil your Easter holidays. Besides I’m pretty sure you want to know how to wear this orange dress after the Easter holidays too. Or if not later at least on repeat during the Easter.
Yes, we are living in this orange dress this Easter weekend.
SHOP AND WEAR MY STYLE
So here is how to style your new orange dress for Easter and later. Surely you will want to wear this orange dress later too, right? Thus the fashion cheat sheet you can use when getting ready for romantic Easter picnic, Easter breakfast for two, Easter brunch or any romantic dinner date. Probably one of those dinner dates that don’t end with the finished plate. You know what I mean?
Anyway, be sure to save, pin, print and share this collage. You can shop everything you see in this picture simply by clicking on the items. Furthermore, you can find all the links in the copy that follows.
Trust me, you will love it. Although I must warn you, you might feel slightly cold when wearing it. The orange floral lace is very delicate and thin. Thinner than the one of this blue Self-Portrait dress.
About the size. I’m wearing a size UK 4 (US 0). My advice is to take your normal size. You can always put on a belt or take some fabric at the back by using the safety pin if the dress is too big. But I don’t think you will need to. Self-Portrait size it’s quite accurate.
Even though the dress is not stretchy, I doubt it could be too tight for you either.
By the way, you can get a shorter version of this orange dress (over here). I might get it too. It’s less sexy and easier to style it casually.
Wait, this doesn’t mean you can’t wear this long orange dress casually too. You sure can, and I’m showing you how. Soon!

And yes, the key item that will make this orange maxi dress look a bit more casual than dinner date ready is the basket bag.
Admittedly, this little basket bag is a must-have bag for Easter time. And spring summer since it’s still very much in style.
MAKEUP AND HAIR
Lastly the makeup. The orange dress is not only difficult to match with the shoes and accessories but makeup and hair too. My advice, go for a radiant complexion and simple hairstyle. I know, it’s easy for me saying this now when I have on my long hair.
Go through the gallery below to find all the makeup I’m wearing at this Easter picnic. And don’t forget to save, pin or even better print this college to make sure you remember this advice.
MORE SPRING PICNIC OUTFITS AND WAYS TO WEAR THIS ORANGE DRESS
So this was the first outfit I was wearing for Easter picnic this Easter holidays. Go to see the second outfit I wore for the Easter picnic. Plus Easter brunch and Easter breakfast. Not sure who actually ate all that food though. Anyway, if you are just like me this spring, going from table to grass, you can wear after Easter too. Oh, and don’t try to bite the bunny’s ears. Crack them first! Those chocolate ears are so thick.
