As said, I love wearing mine over the knee boots with some short coat and short skirt. Especially that combination of grey coat and black skirt I wore in one of my previous posts. Together with a pair of gloves my outfit indeed looked so chic. You can check that look by going back to that post here.
Anyway, I decided to move slightly away from chic and casual look this time. This time I decided to show you how I style my over the knee boots to create a bit more elegant, classy look. I thought a slightly more classy look would fit better the streets of Ljubljana this time of the year.
Finally, about how I’m wearing my Stuart Weitzman over the knee boots to create elegant, ladylike look. As said before, this look is only a slightly more elegant than my usual outfit in over the knee boots. In fact, the focal piece of my outfit is the suede skirt. A skirt that certainly doesn’t come up into our mind the minute we think about a lady or at least about a classy young woman. Yet this skirt, that comes in almost the same colour as the boots, brings all together. It appears like the brown suede duo is one piece. A lady in suede? Well, why not? I think I proved that a lady can wear suede and look elegant. Even more, classy and chic.
Obviously, I wouldn’t be able to pull this outfit off without the princess coat that I’m wearing. Remember, to make this style work perfectly and look classy, you should wear the coat and the skirt that are either of the same lengths (check my Instagram to see how I wore OTK boots with a black coat and suede skirt) or the coat a bit longer than the skirt.
On the other hand, the suede skirt should end when the boots begin. That is to say, there should be no skin in between of the skirt and over the knee boots. Otherwise, this will be a merely casual look that went wrong.
Back to the coat that I’m wearing. There is no better coat you could wear together with over the knee boots for a classy look than the princess coat. To clarify, a double-breasted coat. Especially if you don’t have a suede skirt in that would come in the same colour as your over the knee boots. It will be your style saver for sure.
ACCESSORIES I WEAR WITH THE OTK BOOTS
This style doesn’t need much of accessories really. Frankly, I added only two things to this trio. The large brown Michael Kors Selma bag and leather gloves. Chiefly because I had to.
As it goes for the makeup and hair, I used Balmain Hair Couture products for the graphic silky hair and Dior makeup to create the slightly more decadent look.
