HOUNDSTOOTH BLAZER

What makes this skirt suit outfit unforgettable and more fashionable and chic than any other blazer blouse skirt outfit, is the houndstooth jacket.

Yes, this tailored houndstooth blazer is new. You have no idea how long it took me to find it. I genuinely don’t get why it’s still so hard to find any clothes in houndstooth print. I mean houndstooth print is the most fashionable print of the season.

And yet, finding a blazer, a skirt, or pants in this print is almost a mission impossible. At least clothes in houndstooth that are affordably and quality.

Sure, you can always shop Balmain (check this Balmain houndstooth jacket) to get a quality houndstooth jacket. Or H&M (see this houndstooth blazer) to shop on a budget.

But if you want it all, get quality and not break your bank, like me, then you need to take an afternoon and do nothing but browse through dozens of stores to find what you are looking for.

Hold on, you don’t actually need to cancel all your meetings and plans you had for the afternoon. I did that for you. Found the blazer, I mean.

As you can see, I’m wearing a white blouse underneath the houndstooth jacket. The blouse is ruffled and it looks similar to this blouse from over here. That is when you unbutton the first three buttons.

ASYMMETRICAL MINI PLAID SKIRT

If you splurged on the houndstooth blazer and on the white blouse, this will for sure delight you. The mini tweed skirt I’m wearing as part of this chic skirt suit comes from Storets. And it was less than $80.

Unfortunately, they don’t sell the same tweed skirt anymore. But there is this similar Storets frayed tweed skirt that you can get for less than $50 over here.

Nevertheless, there are more similar skirts in the widget below as well. Many come from Storets (read cost under $80). But, there are also a few other tweed skirts (including the one that you saw in the collage above), made of wool, that are in the same price range as my blazer and shoes.

SHOES AND BAG

Mentioning the shoes, I’m wearing Ganni black slingbacks. You can buy the same Ganni kitten heel pumps here. By the way, do you still remember how chic these slingbacks look when you tie them around your ankles? I showed you over with a pink cocktail dress.

As it goes to the bag, yes it’s black. Once for a change, I am wearing a black bag with black shoes. You can do that now, you know? Wearing matching bags and shoes is not considered a big fashion faux pas anymore.

FALL MAKEUP AND HAIR

Last but not least, more about my fall makeup and hair style that goes best with a mini skirt suit like this.

All I’m going to say here is shop the collage below, do the makeup using the same products as I did, and tie your hair in the back. Not sure if you can see, but my ponytail is not low but not very high either. I tied my hair in the middle to make my entire look more work appropriate.
