You must have heard that the good girls always return home from the party at daylight. I’m sure this is true. Well, at least for me. And surely for most of the girls, including you, at least once a year. After the New Years Eve party.

WHAT TO WEAR TO THE NEW YEAR’S EVE PARTY

Fashion blogger Veronika Lipar of Brunette From Wall Street sharing what to wear to the New Year’s Eve CelebrationSpending entire evening, night and the morning of the next day, after the party, and who knows, perhaps even longer, in one dress. I know you can imagine that quite well. And that you can easily recall hours of suffering spent in that dress that made you feel either cold or not attractive. Or, hopefully not, though, uncomfortable or in pain. I still remember the pain caused by the adhesive bra under my prom dress. Luckily for me, that party ended sooner than expected and I could get my unfortunate outfit off after only a few hours of wearing it.

If you don’t want to enter the new year in pain or some sort of discomfort, it is important for you to find a perfect dress and even more shoes, that will let you party hours long. And let you return home wearing that same outfit. You certainly don’t want to come back home with the shoes in your hands, do you?

I tested different party outfits to make sure I will be able to return home at daylight dressed in my New Year’s Eve party dress and wearing the same heels. Worth mentioning, I had a bit of help with testing the shoes. After all, I’m not one of those girls who take off the shoes as soon as they start feeling pain. To be honest, I never feel pain while wearing my heels. So I asked some of my friends to help me with that. Together we found the perfect shoes you could wear for hours long. You can find them at the bottom of this blog post.

MY NEW YEAR’S EVE PARTY STYLE

I decided to wear something more meaningful this end of the year and before the big day in this fashion story. An outfit that would be a perfect combination of my favourite fashion trends of 2016 and the fashion trends of 2017 I’m most excited of.

With my closet filled with the decadent dresses and few pieces that will surely be everyone’s favourite in 2017, that wasn’t a problem at all. So I opened my closet and looked for the elevated little black dress, which would pop out a glimpse of 2017.

As you can see, I’m wearing a black double-breasted coat, a dark floral mini dress, gloves and ankle boots. What you might not notice at first glance is this stunning lacy bra top I’m wearing under the dress. This bra top is my favourite spring 2017 fashion trend I mentioned before.

The bra top gives a slight glimpse of the new year and connects the old to the new. Anyway, I will write all about this impressive, dazzling, little top, that turns heads at the party, next Tuesday in fashion memo.

PARTY MAKEUP

Now, a word or two about my makeup and hair. You will find more about makeup and hair (how to recreate the look) in my Saturday’s blog post, so make sure you come back for more.
I didn’t have much time, nor I wanted to do my hair and makeup perfectly on the fleek. Honestly, I wanted to go for something slightly less glamorous to make the bra top really pop out. So I wore the warm smokey eye and dark lipstick in this fashion story. I tied my hair together in a simple ponytail.

ACCESSORIES

Almost forgot to mention the accessories. As said before I wanted most of the attention on my cleavage and the bra top. Yet, as this is the New Year’s Eve Party Outfit, I needed more things going on. Beside the floral print of the dress, I thought combining the leather gloves and lacy stockings would do much of the work. I proved right.

I admit the lacy stockings under the short dress might be too much for most of the girls. Not for me, though. Luckily my body allows me to pull off some more provocative styles. Regardless how I look, you might want to hold back a bit and swap the lacy stockings for simple black tights. I advise you to go for 30 denier black tights.

You might be wondering whether I forgot to bring a bag with me. Don’t worry, I didn’t forget it. And you haven’t overlooked it either. I simply decided to go without a bag this time. I love this careless feeling. Not worrying someone will pull it off my shoulder. Or how to hold it while I’m dancing and toasting to the new beginnings. I decided to put everything I need into the pockets this time. I could do this with not problem at all, as my little black dress comes with two hidden pockets.

Sure, searching for a party dress that has some hidden pocket few days before the party is not a splendid idea. It’s is certainly not something a smart girl would do the last minute. There are few solutions for this problem, though. My favourite is the wristlet clutch.

PARTY SHOES

Finally, something about the party shoes. I know many girls become a hostage of the shoes they are wearing soon after they put them on and make few steps. And therefore, if they are careless enough, take the shoes off their feet after an hour on the dance floor. Well, some can’t resist even that long.

If you don’t want to enter new year barefooted, here are some of my favourite shoes you should be wearing on the New Year’s Eve. Find out more about these fabulous shoes by clicking on them.
