Fishnets are fashionable again. Indeed, fishnet tights are in style for spring 2021. Yet not enough to buy a new pair of fishnet socks. But wait, this doesn’t mean you shouldn’t wear a skirt if you have no other socks but fishnets by the reach of your hand. No! You can still wear fishnet tights with skirt suits and mini tweed skirts. Here is how.

FISHNETS ARE BACK ON TREND
Truth be told, I prefer any other type of socks but fishnets. But still, when there is no other pair of socks at the reach of your hand, you put on what you have. And in my case, it was fishnets today.

As said, fishnets are in style in 2021. This means you can wear them with whatever you want and you will still be on trend. But if you want to look sophisticated and classy, wear them with skirt suits and mini skirts. And no, not with schoolgirl punk mini skirts. But, with more classy mini skirts.

So what skirt suit and miniskirt you should wear with fishnets in 2021 to make your outfit fashionable and classy regardless of the tights? Tweed! In 2021 you should style fishnets with a tweed skirt suit. Best with pastel tweed skirt suit that matches the colour of nets. Like I did for this romantic coffee date the other day. Ha, my outfit even matches the cake.

First thing first, to recreate my look you need the fishnets. Even if your old ones are still good, I bet they are not in pastel. Pastel fishnets look more fashionable by the definition. Even better when the net is merely a print like in my case. Furthermore, when they have a logo or two printed on the net. Or glitter.
And yes, I will have to get new fishnets too, since mine are only somehow pastel and not shimmery or with the logo all over. Anyway, get these nets. Ps. If you are cold, then get these tights with a net print. As a matter of fact, these printed net tights are closest to the ones I’m wearing. Mine don’t actually have holes either. But only a net print. It’s cold out there!
TWEED SUIT
Forget about what I just wrote about tweed the other day. Well, remember the second part. Even though tweed is not as popular this season as predicted a year ago, it hit the streets around fashion month. Admittedly, a tweed skirt suit is the perfect date outfit (just like all the date outfits I showed you the other day).

What to wear under the yellow tweed suit when wearing nets in 2021? My advice, go for a full ladylike look and wear a pastel blouse underneath the tweed jacket. I’m wearing a silk pink Red Valentino blouse. Let us keep everything fashionable for 2021.

And no, seeing Meghan Markle, pardon Dutchess of Sussex in Gianvito Rossi plexi pumps has nothing to do with my choice. I knew these plexi pumps are promising long before. Why else would I wear them on repeat all year long?
