CASUAL EASTER OUTFITS

Easter weekend brings a delightful mix of celebration and preparation, and the days before Easter Sunday often involve sprucing up your home for the festivities. Whether you’re cleaning, decorating, or setting the stage for family traditions, or just looking for a feeling that is less about formality and more about fun, here are two casual Easter outfits – Easter Saturday outfits – comfortable Easter outfits you will adore.

Embrace the laid-back vibe and enjoy the holiday with a more relaxed and comfortable outfit.

Both of these casual easter outfits are designed to keep you at ease during busy tasks while still reflecting the season’scheerful vibe. From painting Easter eggs and baking Easter cookies to attending a basket blessing, these comfortable Easter outfits ensure you’re ready for every moment without sacrificing a festive touch.

Picture yourself on Easter Saturday morning, the air buzzing with anticipation as you start your day. You roll out of bed, brush your teeth, take a shower, grab a warm mug of matcha latte, and slip into a cozy yet chic outfit that sets the tone for your home preparations.

With a hair pin completing the look, you fly through your to-do list, transforming your space into a welcoming bunny land, all while feeling effortlessly put-together.

So where should we start? You’re bustling around, adding those final touches—arranging vibrant spring blooms, setting the table with your cherished linens, and perhaps even hiding a few extra chocolate eggs for the little ones.

No, wait! We need to start with Easter eggs. Let’s paint the eggs first.

WHITE LACE CARDIGAN ON A WHITE T-SHIRT WITH BUTTER YELLOW SHORTS AND POINTY FLATS WITH PEARL HAIRPINS

So imagine sitting at your kitchen table (pov or wherever – you will find me at my tea table in the red salon in the video below – the kitchen table was occupied by mother making potica – don’t ask). Anyway, back to you – wherever you are. The morning sun streams through the kitchen window, painting the room in a warm, golden light. Dust motes dance in the single ray that pierces the gloom, illuminating the floating particles like tiny stars.

The air carries a faint whiff of the sweet perfume of spring flowers blooming in a vase nearby, mingling with fresh coffee or matcha latte – yes, it’s probably matcha latte, but at this point it’s hard to tell, you are focused on transforming hard boiled eggs into miniature works of art.

A stack of patterned papers lies scattered across the table and you carefully select a delicate floral print. You gently press the paper onto the egg, smoothing it out with a brush.

The door creaks open suddenly, and your sister steps into the room, her phone already in hand. “Hold still,” she says, her voice bright with excitement. “I need a photo of you in those shorts—they’re too cute!” She raises the phone, snapping a quick shot before you can protest, her grin wide and teasing.

You glance down at the butter yellow shorts. “Thanks,” you say, a smile tugging at your lips. “I found them on Brunette from Wall Street.”

“They’re perfect,” she says, stepping closer to peek at your work. “And they are in butter yellow! Did you know this is the color of the season?”

Before you can answer, your hand shifts—a little too quickly—and the egg you’ve been decorating slips from your fingers. It tumbles to the table with a soft thud and rolls, wobbling toward the edge. Your breath catches, but your sister’sreflexes are faster.

MINI BUTTER YELLOW EASTER DRESS WITH POINTY FLAT MULES AND HEADBAND

With the kitchen table finally empty – pov, even if not – you don’t actually need all that space, just a Kitchenaid artisan mixer and a little work space, it is time to bake Easter cookies.

There’s no sugar in my recipe so you will have to swap it out for elderflower syrup. No sprinkles either—just the pure, simple flavors you love.

And a lot of butter and vanilla, so let the scent of cold butter and vanilla enter your nostrils now.

Sunlight streams through the window, painting stripes of light across the gleaming countertops.

You cut the butter and throw it into butter yellow KitchenAid. And yes, it has to be butter yellow to match your new dress – links below, obviously.

The butter becomes fluffy quickly. And you need to scrape down the sides of the bowl, before you add an egg. No, wait, I’m not giving you my favourite cookie recipe – you can watch the video before you reach for your mother’s old plastic cookie press.

It’s faded and a little frayed, the pastel handle scratched from years of use, but it still works perfectly. You can almost feel her presence as you load the dough into it. Pov, she is actually standing behind you and taking photos of you. “This one is for the album!”

OK, I will stop with this photo plots – but you will want to have photos of you in every Easter outfit I put together for you.

So, back to the plot.

You slip one cookie off the tray—a tiny, still-warm, and pop it into your mouth.

The doorbell chimes loudly—perhaps a friend or family member-who knows, let’s go and open the door.

BOMBER JACKET ON FLORAL BLOUSE WITH FULL MIDI BUTTER YELLOW SKIRT AND KITTEN HEEL PUMPS

The doorbell rings just as you tie the final ribbon around your Easter basket. You glance through the window and spot your neighbor’s smiling face. “Ready to spread some spring cheer?” she calls.

You step outside, the midi skirt of your outfit swirling around your calves like cherry blossom petals caught in a breeze. The floral blouse beneath your cropped bomber jacket is a garden in motion as you head toward your friends’ homes. The plan is simple but meaningful: deliver Easter baskets and share the holiday’s warmth.

At the first house, your friend flings open the door, her eyes lighting up at the sight of you. “That outfit is adorable!” she exclaims, taking in the floral blouse and the way the midi skirt flares as you give a little twirl. “It’s perfect for today.” You laugh, handing her the basket. “Happy Easter! I thought you’d like the cookies—they’re my favorite to bake this time of year.”

After a few more stops, you head toward the church. Ha, we actually skip friends and go straight to the church – but you might do both – for the plot.

Anyway, as you draw near the church, a mix of reverence and excitement bubbles up inside you. The priest stands at the entrance, his robes catching the breeze, his smile kind and inviting. You step forward, the basket suddenly feeling weighty with purpose.

“Happy Easter, Father,” you say softly, offering the basket with a small dip of your head. He nods, his hands tracing a gentle arc as he blesses it, his murmured prayer wrapping the moment in peace. The eggs, the ham, the horseradish and the round cake—all of it takes on a quiet holiness.

You thank him, stepping back with a smile as the sun continues to shine, warm and bright. The breeze dances through your blouse’s floral patterns, and your kitten pumps carry you away, with the blessed basket in your hand. Now can we eat?

*We eat the moment we come home, but you are not supposed to eat Easter goodies before the Easter brunch on the Easter Sunday after the mass.

FORMAL EASTER CHURCH OUTFITS

For Easter church services, you need Easter outfits that are both elegant and respectful.

But before you start thinking about sophisticated dresses, midi/maxi dresses in classic silhouettes, tailored separates, and polished looks, perhaps with delicate lace details that add a touch of refinement and could be that are appropriate for a religious setting, remember, Easter dress code is Level 1.2 Formal – see Chruch dress code guide.

Modesty is key here, but you also need a church-appropriate outfit that is festive and fashionable. *Everyone is watching! All the time!

KNEE LENGTH DOUBLE BREASTED COAT ON A MODEST EASTER SUNDAY DRESS WITH PINK SUEDE PUMPS AND FASCINATOR WITH SPRING GLOVES

When events call for a dress code, it’s nice to go all out. Seize the cold weather and icy church, and go for equal parts that charm and style.

A double breasted coat gives instant elegance paired with high heel pumps. We love a palette of pink and beige for a masterclass in contemporary neutrals.

Don’t forget on the gloves and fascinator. And tights, of course.

AIRY BLUE TWO PIECE DRESS WITH BLUE SATIN PUMPS AND BLUE AURA HEADBAND

You can never go wrong with a midi two piece dress and sleek tailoring at formal gatherings that come with a dress code. Be it Easter Sunday Mass or Easter afternoon tea party.

In the trendiest 2026 Easter colour, belted styles emphasise the waist to a flattering effect, while longer midi length hits that perfect spot between elegance and the old money.

BLACK DOUBLE BREASTED BLAZER WITH MIDI FULL TULLE SKIRT AND BLACK PUMPS WITH BOW HEADBAND

If you are looking for a mix of chic and elegant, you might prefer to put on a black blazer.

There is something timeless about a double-breasted blazer in black, a touch of masculinity balanced out by the femininity of a tulle skirt. Presented in black and adorned with pretty buttons, this cute Easter brunch outfit will effortlessly see you through this Easter.

Some people may wonder if it’s appropriate to wear black for Easter, but you know that black can be a versatile and chic color choice for any occasion, especially when paired with some tulle. And black is considered a classic and elegant choice for formal events, so feel proud to honor that tradition.

Put on a short double breasted black jacket and immediately feel the elegance radiating around you. Paired with a midi skirt it gives off a classic, lavish old money vibe that exudes class and sophistication nonetheless.

7 STYLISH EASTER SUIT WITH PINK PUMPS

Easter is when we all feel compelled to try something a bit different. Be fashion forward in a midi skirt (longer hemlines are back in fashion for fall winter 2026/27 as one of the key fashion trends).

And the vibrant pink hue is perfect for springtime.

As you twirl in front of the mirror, you will smile at the vision of yourself at the church this Easter. Just picture yourself surrounded by mean people, the sun shining through the windows, the scent of fresh flowers, and candles in the air. Can you hear the prayers and chatter behind you?

And there you are, radiating confidence and beauty in your pink double piece dress.

So go ahead, make noise, be loud and embrace the feeling of pretty, fashionable, and trendy as you step out in style for the occasion of the season.

8 ELEGANT EASTER CHURCH DRESS WITH BLACK FLOWER HEADBAND AND BLACK MID HEEL SLINGBACK PUMPS

Formal Easter attire on an unusually warm Sunday morning calls for daytime fabrics that really charm, like lace in pastelhue.

Highly detailed materials always provide a sense of occasion. And a pastel guipure lace offers a distinctive touch for times of joy.

9 STYLISH EASTER CHURCH DRESS WITH MATCHING BLUE CARDIGAN AND BLACK FLOWER HEADBAND WITH BLACK MID HEEL SLINGBACK PUMPS

Now, if you are not really in all this Easter dress up and still want to look pretty and presentable, put on a full dress and layer with a simple – matching – cardigan. And no, I’m not letting you leave your home without a headpiece. Do it for the plot – and for the sake of your hair. It will be windy and you don’t want a bad hair day. A headband will do, obviously.

FASHIONABLE EASTER BRUNCH OUTFITS

Now, let’s finally eat. Easter brunch is a brunch of the year you want to remember; hence you need an equally striking outfit to match.

All in all, dressing up for Easter brunch is a way to show respect to the occasion and to your loved ones. This is a special day, a celebration of spring, new beginnings, and family. It’s a day filled with the warmth and love of family, the joy of the spring season, and the celebration of new beginnings.

And what better way to embody this spirit than by dressing up in your most stunning and sophisticated attire? When you put on a beautiful, formal outfit for Easter brunch, you show your respect for the occasion and the people you’re celebrating it with.

A formal dress or outfit showcases your class and style, and it lets your loved ones know just how much this celebration means to you. Whether you’re spending the day with your entire family or just in-laws, dressing up in your finest attire sets the tone for a day filled with elegance and grace.

So let’s elevate your Easter brunch attire with a touch of formality and class. Choose a dress that matches the dress code and adds a touch of spring.

Don’t miss out on the opportunity to create beautiful memories with your family on this special occasion. Dress up for Easter brunch and let your inner beauty shine through.

Here are my favourite Easter brunch outfits.

10 FORMAL EASTER BRUNCH DRESS WITH DARK GREY BRAIDED HEADBAND AND BLACK MID HEELSLINGBACK PUMPS

No, wait, we need to set the table first.

The late morning sun slants through the dining room windows, gilding the edges of your airy blue midi dress as you remove the black flower headband and lay it gently beside the vase of wilted tulips from yesterday’s market. Your matching blue cardigan drapes over the back of a chair, still warm from the walk home, as you slide the dark graybraided headband into place.

You can smell scent of freshly cut grass and blooming daffodils drifts in through the open window, mingling with the smell of ham and Easter eggs.

You begin with the silverware. The bone china plates cool under your fingertips as you position them. You do your best to align the sterling silver fork perfectly – a thumb’s width from the plate. OK more or less.

The crystal water glasses sing as you set them down and when you lift the teacups their rims catch the scent of the lilac bush swaying outside the open window.

You run your palm over the tablecloth, smoothing wrinkles, pov you should have ironed it before. And there is no time left, you still need to build the cookie tower.

11 DRESSY CASUAL EASTER BRUNCH DRESS WITH MATCHING BLACK MID HEEL BLOCK SLINGBACK PUMPS

Whether an Easter brunch at home, at a fabulous hotel, or in your mother-in-law’s sunroom, Easter brunches demand a look that makes you look like a lady.

However casual or formal Easter brunch turns out to be, you will never make a misstep with either of the next classy Easter brunch outfits.

Decorative detailing around the neck is the easiest way to dress up. A pretty dress with crystals saves you the trouble of deciding on other accessories. Just pair it with matching shoes for an easy yet old money Easter brunch look.

Your Easter brunch outfit sorted, the real challenge begins now. Building a cookie tower. Be careful when selecting a variety of cookies: buttery shortbread, Linzer cookies, and vibrant sugar cookies shaped like bunnies and eggs. No, wait, I don’t bake bunny shape cookies. I don’t have a bunny cookie cutter. But if I get one, I will dip the cookie in white chocolate and sprinkle it with coconut flakes. Not sure what I will use for the eyes. I could use pistachio, but do bunnies have green eyes? I think bunnie’s eyes should be blue. Ha, we will need to check this out. Pov, walnuts could be an option too. For the eyse or for the fur. And if I use walnuts for the fur, I could use pistachio for the eyes. Anyway, I need to get the cookie cutter first.

Also, this plot should be about you. So where were we? Oh, yes, the sunlight pours through the window, igniting the tweed’s metallic threads and the bone china platter on the table.

You glimpse your reflection in crystal glass: hair in a ponytail, you replaced the headband with a velvet ribbon the same blue as your shoes. The crystals at your collar wink as you exhale before you begin to layer cookies.

It’s a delicate process, requiring patience and a steady hand. You gently press each cookie into place, ensuring the tower remains stable.

You step back, brushing powdered sugar from the tweed and you can almost hear the gasps of admiration as your guests arrive and behold your edible masterpiece. Or are they already standing behind you?

12 TWEED JACKET ON A MIDI FULL SKIRT AND FLORAL BLOUSE WITH BLUE SATIN PUMPS

Perfectly matched for the Easter brunch, butter yellow always signals things in bloom and an optimistic mood.

A two-piece butter yellow set offers interest whilst retaining the charms of classic femininity with the silhouette. Play around with shoes that are out of the ordinary.

Paired with satin blue pumps, the look is daring, and oh-so-fancy.

13 SEQUIN AIRY BLUE SHORT TWEED JACKET ON WHITE SILK SHIRT AND 70s STYLE DARK INDIGO WIDE-LEG JEANS WITH WHITE WESTERN BOOTIES

What better way to show off your festive spirit than with a cute and trendy outfit that will turn heads and make you feel confident?

You might want to bring some denim into the mix. And no, not just an item to layer on an elegant Easter brunch dress. The 70s style dark indigo jeans will work perfectly paired with western booties for a casual Easter brunch in the city.

Dressing up a pair of jeans comes with its own set of rules. You might want to revive that perfect jeans and blazer trend. Or be bolder and go for a tweed jacket instead.

Layer on with airy blue sequin tweed jacket that complements adds a touch of elegance to the casual denim. Then, grab this fancy little bag (I bought it the other day in Italy) that exudes fun times to be have and adds a pop of color to your outfit.

This outfit is perfect for a casual Easter brunch in the city. You’ll fit right in with the fashionable crowd and stand out with your new tweed jacket. Plus, the jeans and the white shirt, obv, are versatile pieces that you can wear again and again, making this outfit a great investment for your wardrobe.

14 CASUAL EASTER BRUNCH OUTFIT WITH MODERN SKINNY BLUE JEANS AND A WHITE RUFFLED SHIRT WITH KITTEN HEEL SLINGBACKS

As formal as Easter brunch is, there is no reason not to bring more denim into your Easter brunch outfit mix.

And no, not just dark indigo wed-leg jeans that look like pants, but blue denim jeans. Furthermore blue skinny jeans.

If you are looking for something cute yet chic, try my favourite Easter brunch outfit with blue skinny jeans.

If blue jeans are not the item you reach on a daily but an item you get to wear only during the weekends and holidays, then seize your chance and wear blue jeans for Easter brunch this year. But in a classy way, obviously.

Pair your favourite new modern skinny blue jeans with a fancy blouse or ruffled shirt and kitten heels. Details like ruffles and patent leather make blue jeans outfits perfect for daytime events that are a bit fancier.

This outfit comes between casual and trendy, with the ruffled shirt adding a touch of femininity and kitten heels providing a timeless and fashionable look. The patent leather elevates the outfit and add a sense of sophistication, while the headband adds a playful and cute touch.

As you slip into this outfit, you’ll feel confident and put together, ready to take on the day ahead. You’ll feel comfortable enough to enjoy the delicious food and lively conversation with your loved ones, while still feeling fashionable and in style.

15 BLACK TURTLENECK TOP WITH MIDI FULL FLORAL SKIRT AND LILAC TOP KNOT HEADBAND WITH BLACK SLINGBACK PUMPS

Whether it is casual at home or dressed up for outside, this boujee Easter brunch outfit will never be out of place. It is all; it is cute, chic, boujee, stylish and fashionable.

With a variety of styles that put a unique spin on Easter festivities, play around with silhouettes and indulge in bright Easter colours. Or in floral print. Or in black.

Again, you can wear black for Easter. Black or floral and bright, get ready to be the best dressed this Easter.

A midi floral skirt has a vintage charm that lasts throughout the holidays paired with a simple black turtleneck and matching slingbacks.

*Decorated waistlines pull in the silhouette and elongate the figure as you relish in the feel of a tweed dress. Get ready for your best appearance.

17 DENIM JACKET ON A PINK MINI DRESS AND PINK HEELS

There is the popular desire for families to wear coordinating outfits for their Easter photos. The goal is to create a cohesive and visually appealing look for the whole family without being overly matchy-matchy in a particular print.

Find a balance that creates a sense of unity in the photos with a denim jacket and a splash of pink hue that makes everyone look good in the photos and video.

Strike a pose in mini pink dress (that is a pink polo shirt and dark grey pants for the guys) layered with a denim jacket and prepare for the season ahead by snapping up key pieces that flatter to perfection.

A pink dress or a pink polo and a denim jacket are three of those pieces that never disappoint.

For the guys, a touch of structure and tailoring can pull together any look delicately balanced with loafers. Embrace this style statement that will always impress.

COMFORTABLE EASTER OUTFITS FOR OUTDOOR EVENTS

For Easter celebrations that take place outdoors, such as egg hunts in the park or casual gatherings in the garden, comfort and practicality are key considerations.

These casual easter outfits allow for ease of movement and are appropriate for potentially varied spring weather.

18  LONG SLEEVE MINI DRESS WITH SNEAKERS

Minis make everything even more casual and loose fits everything comfortable. Style with sneakers if you are up for some Egg hunt.

So, the sun warms on your nose as you step out of the house. The air is alive with the sounds of children’s laughter and the excited barking of dogs as you make your way towards the park.

Sunlight filters through the leaves, dappling the forest floor in a kaleidoscope of light and shadow. You hear the cheerful chatter of children and the occasional rustle of leaves as someone brushes past.

The air is sweet with the scent of blooming wildflowers and chocolate. Oh you can smell the chocoalte egges every where. And is that a pistachion in the air? Ha, most likely. The crze for dubai Easter eggs is crazy this year. But where are all those eggs hidden?

You finally spot a brightly colored egg hidden beneath a fallen log. The golden wrap paper glims in the sunlight. As you want to reach for it, you notice ants marching across its surface. Dubai – dubble points. But it’s full of ants. Now that’s a luck.

You continue your search, weaving through the trees and bushes, your eyes scanning the ground for hidden treasures. The thrill of the hunt is infectious, and you feel a surge of childhood excitement as you discover a nest of eggs tucked away beneath a pile of leaves. You gather your bounty, your basket overflowing with chocolate eggs of every color and shape.

Just as you think you’ve scoured every reachable spot, a glint of gold catches your eye in a particularly tricky location – high up in the crook of a low-hanging tree branch. It’s another Dubai egg, unmistakable with its luxurious shimmer. You stretch, reaching as high as you can, but it’s just out of your grasp.

“Need a hand?” a warm and deep voice asks from behind you. You turn to see him, with a smile playing on his lips, and his eyes crinkling at the corners. He’s holding his own overflowing basket, but his gaze is solely on you.

A playful challenge sparks in your eyes. “Maybe,” you say, tilting your head. “But only if you promise not to steal my prize.”

He chuckles, stepping closer. He giggles. “Though, perhaps the finder deserves a small reward?” His eyes meet yours, and a spark flickers between you.

He reaches up effortlessly, plucking the golden Dubai egg from its perch. Instead of handing it directly to you, he holds it just out of reach, a teasing glint in his eyes. “What’s my reward going to be?” he asks softly.

The scent of chocolate and wildflowers seems to intensify in the space between you, and for a moment, the only thing that matters is the warmth of his gaze and the promise of something sweet to come.

A slow smile spreads across your lips. You reach out, to gently brush a stray leaf from his hair, letting your fingers linger for a brief, teasing moment. The air thickens and you can feel his heart beat as he lowers his hand slightly, the golden egg still held between his fingers.

You lean in with a playful glint in your eyes. He closes his, ready for the kiss he anticipates. But, you move your head and press a soft, fleeting kiss to his cheek.

His eyes flutter open and he looks surprised. You can’t help but giggle at his slightly bewildered expression. “Consider that a down payment,” you say with a light and teasing voice, before finally plucking the golden Dubai egg from his hand.
