For a moment, you stay in the coziness of your bed, thinking of a warm cup. But then your eyes catch the clock, and you realise you must have overslept.

Heart racing, you throw off the covers and hurry to the bathroom. The cool tiles under your bare feet snap you into focus, grounding you in the urgency of the moment.

You brush your teeth with swift, practiced motions, and mint toothpaste cuts through the morning taste, as foam swirls down the drain like rain. 

Next, a quick shower. You keep it cooler than usual, letting it chase away the last cobwebs of sleep.

Now this outfit is for the plot. Frankly, I still don’t know why I’ve bought that dress. It’s so tacky. Pretty, but tacky.

A tried and tested summer rain staple, a camel trench coat is the best investment for summer rain.

With a design that comes upgraded with a detachable hood (click on the trench coat in the collage to be pointed to the store where I bought mine), style with blue jeans and a white T-shirt, and you will be out of the door in no time.

But you might want to shop for these sneakers with a metallic star nonetheless. Either way both are Italian sneakers so the comfort should be equal.

They say rain on the wedding day is a promise of a long wealthy marriage. But for the wedding guests, it is a promise of a problem and a search for a water-proof wedding guest outfit.

They say rain on the wedding day is a sign of enduring love and prosperity for the newlyweds. However, for wedding guests, it can present a different challenge: finding the perfect waterproof wedding guest outfit. Don’t fret!

“Hey, I’m so sorry…” Your friend’s voice carries that particular tone of barely-controlled panic. “The venue’s outdoor area is completely flooded, and the backup indoor space is not going to work either. We’re calling it off. Well, postponing, I guess. I can’t believe this is happening.”

You sit there for a moment, engine running, rain creating rivers on the glass. All that effort. The dress that fits like it was made for you, the shoes that make your legs look endless, the hair that for once is cooperating.
