I know, finding a perfect Valentine’s gift for someone you have just met is quite a challenge. Especially if you don’t want to be common and give him/her chocolate like most people give to their love. But don’t worry guys, I found some chic Valentine’s gifts for your girl that aren’t chocolate. You know, just in case she actually doesn’t like chocolate at all.
BUT WE’VE JUST MET
Ps. In case you are still thinking whether to give her Valentine’s gift after knowing her for a short time, let me tell you the answer is yes. Yes, even if you are not officially dating yet. But you are hoping for more. However, make sure you don’t be too intrusive with your gift in the second case.
Don’t worry; I have you covered with that too. So before we head on my Valentine’s gift guide, a short stop at the gifts you really shouldn’t give to a girl you barely know.
AS LONG AS YOU DON’T GET HERE THESE … YOU SHOULD BE FINE
Finding a perfect first Valentine’s gift for a girl you have just met and you don’t really know, must be the most difficult of them all. I mean you can’t give her a ring the minute you meet her.
Nor any other jewellery. Especially if the both of you are looking just for fun. And this thing you two have is just a fling. You know what I mean.
Surely, getting her a box of chocolates and a bouquet of red roses would be the easiest thing to do. But, hey, you can do better than this! Besides, who knows if she even eats chocolates in the first place. For example, I don’t. Nor do most of the fashion girls at this moment as we are all saving ourselves for the delights we get during the fashion weeks that are starting right now.
As it goes for another common Valentine’s gift, the lingerie. In short, just don’t. If you already bought it, you should rather save it for the next year. That is if you stick together that long. Although I must say, giving lingerie as Valentine’s gift is not a good idea at all. No matter how much stores like to advertise it as a perfect gift. They do this just because they know this is the easiest way to get lots of money from men. But lingerie really isn’t a good gift for a girl. As said, especially if you just started dating.
MAYBE YES MAYBE NOT
Well, this one can be both, actually. A good and a bad gift. However, unless you have a really good nose and know the fragrance your girl wear, chances you will get her the right perfume are low. You can, though, always give a try with the latest IT perfumes. Or better, a fragrance for her hair.
However, if your girl is a legit fashionista and loves discovering new fragrances than a just launched perfume could actually be a good gift for her. Luckily all the biggest brands launch a new line of fragrances just days before the Valentine’s Day. But which perfume to get her then? Don’t worry I know just the perfume us fashionistas want now. You will find it in my gift guide below.
Same goes for the toys. As much as we used to love Me to You Tatty Teddy bears, we are over the toys now. Although I confess, it’s rather hard to say no to a big soft stuffed teddy bear. Besides even if your girl doesn’t like the teddy bear … well, at least your head won’t hurt you if she throws it to you.
As it goes for all the other toys, only one thing. You two just met! You know what I mean. Well, in case you don’t, let me just say two words bed toys. And no, not the one stuffed with foam.
