You know those days when you wake up and the first thing you see in the morning is the clear blue sky, that makes you want to jump out of bed and run outside as fast as you can? Well, that is how I felt this morning. Lured by the baby blue colour in the sky and warm spring light I put on the sheer pink blouse and black ripped jeans and ran out. But only to return back in the minute after. To grab some layers. You know the spring outfit issues.
I can’t believe how naive I was this morning when I left the house wearing nothing but black ripped jeans and this beautiful sheer pink blouse with ruffles. Surely, the clear sky is so deceiving anyone, even the fashion forward meteorologist, could easily be fooled and think she can leave her coat at home. The thing is that, despite the clear skies and intense sunlight, it’s still cold. Well not as much as the other day in Paris, when I was freezing in the rain, in case you are wondering what I’m talking about, check here. Still, I can’t say anything other, but it’s still cold. And thin layers of clothes are a must now.

WHAT SPRING OUTFIT TO WEAR NOW
No wonder they say knowing how to style layers of clothes is an art. It really is. True, you can always take off some layers. But hey, let’s be honest! Who will carry around all that extra layers of clothes in their hand this weekend? Certainly not me.
Yes, I lied before, saying I returned back in and grabbed some extra layers. In fact, I only grabbed one layer. So instead of walking around wearing many layers of clothes in my hand after it finally warms up, I decided to put only one extra layer. My wool winter coat.
MY WEEKEND STYLE
I decided to wear a casual, transitional outfit today. Honestly, I didn’t have much of choice. Given the weather and the fact I stayed in the city and pretended to be a tourist today. So here I am wandering around Ljubljana, being a tourist for a day.
Under this thin virgin, wool coat, I’m wearing a Red Valentino sheer pink blouse with ruffles. And statement sleeves. I mean how not to, when there are literally only two types of shirts we should wear now. Either a sheer, ruffled blouse with something going on its sleeves or a shirt with cold shoulders. Best when coming in pink or with stripes.
To give an edge to the girly blouse, I styled ruffles with this fabulous black ripped jeans from Diesel that I love to wear so much.
SHOES TO WEAR NOW
Honestly, I would prefer to wear this black ripped jeans and sheer pink blouse with my embellish white sneakers. But because of the blisters, I got the other day after walking 15 km in Paris, I preferred to put on my beloved Bobby sneakers. Even though other fashionistas don’t seem to have the same feeling about them. You know what I mean. One day they say the wedged sneakers are so out, the other day they say any type of sneakers is in. Still, Bobby sneakers are classic shoes for me. Perfect for when you are playing a tourist in the city on a beautiful day like this.
Obviously, my outfit wouldn’t be complete without some thin gloves, sunglasses and mini black bag. Yes, without the basics. You can’t say I need anything more. After all, I have the holes in my jeans to take care of the rest.
