Clothes (puffer jacket), shoes (Ugg boots this time), bags, beauty, skincare and hair products, makeup, fragrance and all sorts of things you need this winter. From the fashion story Picnic in the Snow.
PICNIC IN THE SNOW
The fancy tote bag. Even though, I took a Rattan basket with me; a nice tote is a much fancier choice to take with to the picnic. So I’m putting a tote bag in my Winter Chic list. Honestly, It didn’t occur to my mind up until now to swap my picnic basket and take a stylish bag instead. Probably, because I never plan my picnics ahead. Even though I use them as a setting of my fashion story afterward. My picnics always come up spontaneously. I guess that makes them even more charming and exciting. Surely, the only way I will take a bag rather than a basket to my picnic the next time is to hide the basket. This way it I will have no other choice than to put all the things I need for my picnic in one of my bags.
The blanket. I should probably put the blanket in the first place. As there is no picnic without the blanket to sit on. Well, neither without something to eat and drink, too. Back to the blanket. Besides the pretty colour and pattern, you should look for warm material when you are buying a blanket for your picnic. Luckily, you don’t need to limit yourself only to the picnic blankets. Believe me; I’m using the small pink blanket I bought at the airport on my way from NYC. And that small, rather thin blanket worked well on the morning grass when there were still drops of dew. As well as on the frozen grass. Moreover, it works great in the snow as well. I wasn’t feeling cold at all. Nor did the blanket get wet.
Tea. You need to bring some warm beverage to your picnic in the snow. I decided to bring Detox tea from Kusmitea this time. As a matter of fact, I mixed two different blends of Detox tea. The Blue Detox and BB Detox. Blue Detox is a tea blend you need to drink if you want to lose that extra weight you gained during a holiday season. I know you were the one who was stilling the chocolates from the Christmas tree. Or am I wrong? Hopefully, I am. If not, you will also need to drink 4) BB Detox.
BB Detox is also called the Beauty beverage. I am certain it will help you put your skin back to order. You know what I mean. Especially if you ate all the sweet Christmas decoration by yourself. I have been drinking the BB Detox for two years every single day now. And you can’t say my skin isn’t divine. Because it simply is. In case you were wondering what those two blends are made of. Blue Detox is a combination of maté, green tea and rooibos
Blue Detox is a combination of maté, green tea and rooibos flavoured with a note of savoury and captivating pineapple. Honestly, I didn’t like it the first time I tried it. Or second time. I got used to it after the fifth time. Now I like to drink it. Even so, I prefer the BB Detox. Which is a blend of green tea, maté, rooibos, guarana, and dandelion, flavoured with a hint of grapefruit.
The cup. This time I used this pretty porcelain tea cup from Royal Albert. The vibrant colours and playful designs on the cup are a perfect combination for any fashion follower. Have you noticed how bright it shines in the snow?
Sweets. To make it clear once and for all, apart from a chocolate bar (made of more than 80 % of cocoa and without soy lectin and sugar) once and then, I don’t eat sweets at all. Those Ferro Rocher you see in my picnics are always there merely for the decoration. In fact, let me tell you a secret, I have been using the same Ferrero Rochers for all the photo shootings so far. True, I had to hide it away from some candy lovers that stroll around my photo shootings. But, I managed somehow. And there are still intact. Though, I won’t be surprised to find a walnut wrapped in the golden paper some day soon. It happened before. I know it was you, father!
WINTER BEAUTY AND MAKEUP
HAIRCARE AND SKINCARE
Balmain Hair Couture Argan Moisturizing Elixir. It’s crucial to take extra care not only to your skin but your hair as well. After all, it’s not only your skin that can get dry in the winter. Your hair can get dry too. You might not notice it as quickly as when it comes to the skin on your hands. Albeit without extra care your hair will be dry and dull before the spring. I use Argan Elixir to make sure my hair stay shiny and look alive during winter. And it’s not only the smooth and healthy look why I love this Elixir for. This wonderful hair product helps me get rid of static hair as well. How? I will tell you more next Saturday, so make sure you check my blog then.
Balmain Hair Couture Sun Protection Spray. Even though the sun doesn’t shine so strong in winter, we all know that snow reflects the sun’s rays. Leaving us with burned skin and provokes colour fading and keratin damage. This formula protects my hair from keratin damage and deeply nourishes. Moreover, it hydrates my hair. And leaves my sun-kissed hair, soft, strong and with a luminous shine.
Diorsnow UV SHIELD BRIGHTENING ILLUMINATING UV PROTECTION PEARLY WHITE SPF50 – PA+++. As said it is important to protect your skin from the sun in winter as well. You might think I’m exaggerating with SPF50. I’m not, believe me.
Dior Lip Maximizer. This collagen active lip gloss instantly leaves my lips smooth, moisturised and plump-looking. It protects my lips from getting dry much better than any other lip balm I have tried so far.
Christian Dior Prestige Foundation Creme. I prefer to use richer foundation in the winter that nourishes my skin.
Dior Forever And Ever Eau De Toilette Spray. You are never dressed fully without a drop of fragrance.
WARM AND COSY CLOTHES AND SHOES
UGG boots. The star of this winter picnic in the snow. How couldn’t they be as they sparkle so bright? Even so, they would be in the spotlight with or without the glitter. It’s official. The UGG boots are back. And there are no better shoes you could put on for the picnic in the snow. I wore the classic UGG boots I bought a few years ago at this picnic. But there are much more UGGs to choose from now. See by yourself bellow.
Puffer jacket. Another fashion star of the winter. Check the collection of my favourite puffer jackets. Find out more by clicking them.
Jeans. Blue jeans go so well with the UGG boots and the puffer jacket. I simply can’t imagine styling the UGGs and puffer jacket with anything else but blue denim.
Gloves. To protect your skin and keep your hands warm.
