The weekend is finally here, and it’s time for you to roll your new round towel or favourite pink blanket, grab your chic raffia bag, put on some fancy embellished sandals, take off to the seaside and have a picnic with the sea view.
FRIST SUMMER PICNIC
After having so many picnics on the grass (be sure to check the last one here) and even on the snow (remember how much fun I had then over here) in the last few months, I decided it’s time for me to try something new and change my picnic spot. After all, it’s summer already, and this is my first summer picnic we are talking about.
So I packed my soft pink blanket, grabbed my stylish raffia basket bag (you saw me wearing this raffia bag in the city) and took off to the seaside. Well, yes, I finally got myself a bag that somehow looks like a legit picnic basket, while it’s super fashionable this summer and I can wear it everywhere.
Anyway, back to my first summer picnic. As said, I thought having a picnic by the sea would be a great idea not only to celebrate the beginning of the summer but to relax and enjoy the sea view. You know what I mean, watching the grass while sitting on the soft blanket is not as far as relaxing as watching the sea, smelling fresh, salty air while listening to the loud noises of the seagulls and the waves when they hit the beach and fade away.
PICNIC BY THE SEA
However, my summer picnic by the sea wasn’t the picture perfect summer picnic I dreamt about. This is why you will find this blog post shorter than usual. In short, there’s not much to say about but a lot to learn from this summer picnic. I guess throwing my picnic blanket on the wooden pier wasn’t the best idea. You know, the skinny girl’s problems, that made me feel uncomfortable while sitting and laying on my pink picnic blanket.
Furthermore, the ice cream I’m eating in the photos was anything but delicious. Also, it was melting too fast and dripping all over my pink picnic blanket. What a disaster.
Still, this made me learn things you shouldn’t do on a summer picnic by the sea. That is if you want to have the most enjoyable and relaxing summer picnic by the sea, of course.
Keep reading to find what else you shouldn’t do on a summer picnic by the sea.
