You know what I will say now. Throw all the green veggies and fruits into the blender, make yourself a smoothie. Steal a slice of the cake from the kitchen’s table and tulips from the vase. Then grab your pink picnic blanket, put on some ruffles, pink obviously. And run to the nearest orchard, lay the blanket on the grass, sit and ENJOY at your spring picnic.
SPRING PINK PICNIC
Spring is finally in full bloom. And my picnics are getting better and better. Remember my first spring picnic from the other day. When I was literally sitting on the mud. You know, My first picnic in blue and brown. Ps. You could read the story behind that picnic over here and details from the picnic over here. Anyway, much has changed since my last picnic. And it was only a few days ago.
The grass is finally green, and every single tree near my house is blooming. It really is so pretty. And our orchard? Not exactly in full bloom yet. But nevertheless, I have the tulips. I wish you could smell this fragrance. And the grass? So soft. Perfect for sitting and eating cake. I told you my picnics are getting better.
NEW SEASON, NEW PICNIC STYLE
This is certainly the pinkest picnic I ever had. And undoubtedly my favourite one. I know, I say this for every picnic I have, but it’s true. Nevertheless, this picnic is better than previous picnics in all dimensions. Not only it’s finally warm. There are my favourites fragrances and colours everywhere. There are lots of pinks. I’m even wearing it all over. Well, with some black and white, which happen to be my favourite day to day combination. And there is even a splash of green. To make my picnic look healthier, naturally. Besides a green smoothie is a must when eating a cake like this. How do you think I stay so skinny. WHAT TO WEAR AT THE PINK PICNIC
Do I need to say anything more? Pink, obviously. However, be sure you bring only a cake you can actually eat to your picnic. You know what I mean. Don’t look like a cake yourself, too. Even though pink picnics are more than fashion approved this spring, all this ruffles and hues of pink might be too much for one picnic. Unless, you wrap them into some stripes, as I did. Black and white, to make it clear.

Don’t forget, stylish picnics are so much fun. And the first step to making your picnic a fashion event is to dress up for the picnic. Don’t get me wrong. There is no such thing as a cocktail dress turning into a picnic dress that you should wear to the picnic. Even if you drink cocktails at your picnic. Picnics are meant to be casual yet fashionable. So simply pick one or even better two of the latest fashion trends and make them work as a theme of your picnic. THE SKINNY B*’S GREEN SMOOTHIE
Finally, my recipe for the Skinny B*’s Green Smoothie. Skinny Brunette’s, what else did you think? Before anything else I need to warn you, this smoothie is no joke. Although the taste of this smoothie is one to dispute over. Wait, I won’t lie to you. The one I had at my pink picnic tasted horrible. You should have seen my face while I was drinking it. Blame it on yourself if you missed it. It was on my Instagram story. So better follow me now, to see all the fun we have behind the scenes.
Regardless the taste, well sometimes it does actually taste delicious, it’s a smoothie you should drink every day. Why?Because this green smoothie makes you lose weight. Not that you need to lose any weight. Still, summer is coming and I bet you want to drink something that works. For real. Moreover, this green smoothie gives you a boost of energy at the same time. Believe me, it’s has been tested on everyone in my family.
So here is how to make Brunette’s Green Smoothie. Peel approx. 3 cm of ginger and one slice of pineapple. Throw it in the blender. Add one handful of spinach, one handful of arugula, five leaves of parsley. Then one teaspoon of matcha, half of fennel leave, one-quarter to half of teaspoon of Cayenne pepper, one tablespoon of sunflower seeds and one-half of a tablespoon of unsalted pumpkin seeds, half of cucumber and 2 dl of cold water. Almost forgot the millennial’s superfood, the avocado. Who could live without it, right? Anyway, you need only one-quarter of avocado for this smoothie. Blend it all together and serve. I prefer to drink it immediately. However, you can take it to the picnic with no problem. Simply pour it to one of those smoothie glasses or mason jar. You know, the small mason jar with a hole in the lid. You must have seen it already. I think everyone has it but me. I’m still drinking my smoothie from the ordinary glass, though.
