You know those days when you literally don’t know what season it is? When you can’t tell if it is spring already or you are still stuck in winter? Because it smells of spring, and even days on calendar say it is spring already. But the weather feels so cold in the morning. And it takes so long for the sun to finally rise and shine. But when it does, it warms up, before you even get a chance to take off all the layers of clothes you are wearing. Well, this wasn’t my case this weekend. And not because of the weather.
MY WEEKEND OUTFIT
You know I love to experiment with my style on the weekends. I love to step out of my comfort zone and try the looks that are somehow not me. At least not at first glance. Or are about some hard to pull off latest fashion trends. As the one with the striped sweater over the midi skirt, I wrote about here. Or the one with more than 4 different patterns in one outfit I wrote about here.
BROWN, BLUE, PINK, WHITE AND TWEED
Anyway, this weekend style is all about me. I’m wearing tweed which is my another staple weekend outfit and some of my favourite colours; pink, blue, grey and brown. Hard to tell which one is truly my favourite one, right. Let me tell you a secret. It depends on the garment. There are only black and white that look great on everything. Oh, I almost forgot, I’m actually wearing white, too. I mean this bag that I’m wearing is so small, one can easily overlook.
SHOP AND WEAR MY STYLE
Finally, to the outfit, I’m dressed in this weekend. I want to be brief this time, as I will give you a lesson on how to style 5 different colours and 5 different materials in one outfit this spring in my other post. Probably in the fashion memo blog post on Tuesday. But it could also be in my Street Style post on Thursday. Nevermind, subscribe to my newsletter and you will get the notice on this blog post straight to your inbox.
Back to my weekend style. I’m wearing a mini blue tweedy skirt by Storets, pink silk ruffled blouse by Red Valentino, grey wool coat, blue leather gloves, small white shoulder bag and brown over the knee boots by Stuart Weitzman.
Sorry, apart from the skirt and the OTK boots, you can’t find the rest of my weekend style online anymore. Still, you can get the OTK boots. And you can wear them the entire spring. Anyway, I found some similar clothes for you to recreate my look. Click and browse through the clothes in the stunning gallery bellow the EDIT. Ps. Products are mixed. You will find everything from designer to high-street pieces.
On the, almost the first, first spring weekend I’m wearing blue, brown, pink, white and tweed. A lot is going on in my weekend outfit this time. But hey, it’s spring. And spring is a time when different colours and textures are suddenly popping up at the same place. Well, even in the same outfit as in my case.
Surely embracing and wearing so many textures and colours in the same outfit takes a lot of courage and style. Luckily for you, you have me to show you how to do this. And find you all the clothes that go so well together regardless they come in completely uncomplimentary colours and materials. You know what I mean. Who the hell wears blue and brown and pink all in one outfit? I do! And I’m sure the clothes I found for you will convince you to try this style by yourself, too. So move up and start browsing through the blue, brown, pink, white and tweed.
Ps. Don’t forget to come back to see and read all the tips on how to wear a bunch of different colours and materials in one outfit to look stylish and fashionable this spring.
