WHICH HAND SOAP IS THE BEST FOR SENSITIVE SKIN?

Wondering which hand soap is the best for sensitive skin? And spent all night googling for the best hands soap that won’t dry out your skin as much as the soap you are currently using? You can stop searching now. Here is the list of the best bar hand soaps for dry and sensitive skin.

But before we head down to the list, let me tell you one secret about hand soaps that not everyone knows!

WHAT HAND SOAP TO USE IF YOU WASH YOUR HANDS ALL THE TIME?

If you wash your sensitive hands all the time, you should use a bar hand soap instead of the liquid soap. Or a combination of both; first the liquid soap (to remove all viruses and bacteria without contaminating other surfaces) and then the bar soap (to moisturise your sensitive skin).

All the liquid soaps tend to make hands dry more than bar soaps. No matter the quality of the bar soap. Trust me, I know!

Here’s the thing; I wash my hands all the time. Truth to be told, I couldn’t even count how many times per day I was my hands. Even though I have a very sensitive skin that can easily bleed.

Indeed, my skin is very sensitive, and I always wash my hands with the hottest water possible for a minute or even more. First, with the liquid soap and then with bar soap. Yet, my skin doesn’t get dry if I use the right bar hand soap.

THE BEST HAND SOAPS FOR SENSITIVE SKIN

And here it is – the list of, in my experience, the best hand soaps for my sensitive hands. The list of the best bar hand soaps. As said, bar soaps are better than liquid soaps by default.

Ps. You can trust my list of the best hand soaps. If these best hand soaps haven’t dried my hands, they shouldn’t make your skin dry either.

I use all these hand soaps for dry skin on rotation. Afterall there are a few limitations of shopping for soaps these days. And I don’t always get my favourite soap No. 1. which is obviously the one from Dior.

Still, since all of the bar soaps from my list are the best soaps for dry skin, I’m somehow fine with that. After all, all these soaps are the best soaps for sensitive skin. Plus they smell very nice. Apart from one drugstore bar soap that’s also on my list – but I like that one for other reasons.

Anyway, more about my favourite drugstore bar soap later. Let’s check the list of the best luxury hand soaps first. Ps. I divided my list of the best hands soaps for sensitive skin into 3 parts since I tend to use hand soaps that cost from $ to $$.

THE BEST LUXURY HAND SOAPS

I’m starting with the best luxury hand soaps first as the No. 1 listed designer soap is genuinely my favourite soap.

#1 MISS DIOR Blooming scented soap

US shop MISS DIOR Blooming scented soap hereEU shop MISS DIOR Blooming scented soap here.

The smell and the creamy feeling after I wash my hands with MISS DIOR Blooming scented soap is genuinely the most comforting and luxurious feeling that I wouldn’t want trade for anything.

It feels like I have wrapped my hands with the rose petals, every time I wash my hands with Miss Dior bar soap. My hands feel so soft after washing them with this bar soap that I don’t even need to use any hand cream afterwards.

Ps. Better hurry shopping for soap – there could be just one more Miss Dior soap left after I bought second to last.

#2 CHANEL N°5 Bath Soap

USA shop Chanel N°5 Bath Soap hereEUROPE shop Chanel N°5 Bath Soap here

The second best hand soap you could use when washing dry hands is Chanel N°5 Bath Soap. You will absolutely adore this bar soap if you like Chanel N°5 perfume. Well, truth to be told, you will love this soap even if you wish Chanel N°5 fragrance wouldn’t be so strong.

Chanel N°5 Bath Soap leaves my skin so soft, smooth, clean and subtly perfumed.

What I love the most about Chanel N°5 Bath Soap is that I can use it for washing my body, also. Indeed, this is the best value for money soap. And a must-have soap in your home spa.

#3 CHANEL Coco Mademoiselle

To shop for CHANEL Coco Mademoiselle, click here (US) or here (EU).

There is another Chanel soap that I love, and that deserves to be listed among the best hand soaps for sensitive skin. Chanel Coco Mademoiselle is the best bar hand soap for sensitive skin, too.

And no, not only because it makes my skin soft as silk. Nor because of the scent, which is, by the way, as intense as the Chanel Coco Mademoiselle perfume (one of my favourite perfumes).

But because Chanel Coco Mademoiselle bar soap doesn’t melt as quickly as many other soaps. It lasts long. Like really long. Even longer than my other favourite designer soaps.

Yet slightly less long than the next soap.

THE BEST VALUE FOR MONEY SOAP

#4 Roger & Gallet Soap

If you want to shop for Roger & Gallet soap – click here US or click here EU.

Roger & Gallet Soap is truly the best value for money soap. It not only lasts longer than other soaps but also makes my hand soft and intensely scented. You truly get all with Roger & Gallet Soap.

And it smells so nice. Once I unwrap the tissue paper, the entire floor smells of roses for 4 days at least.

SHOP ROGER & GALLET SOAPS AND SHOWER GEL

Anyway, what I love the most about Roger & Gallet soap is that it doesn’t melt as fast as other soaps. Nor clogs the skin. Which is, as you know, the case with many other bar soaps. Sure, not with either of the soaps above, yet with the next best bar drugstore soap on my list.

THE BEST DRUGSTORE SOAP FOR SENSITIVE SKIN

#5 NIVEA Cream Care Soap

US get Nivea soap hereEU get Nivea soap here.

Indeed, Nivea bar soap melts fast (I use at least 3 Nivea bar soaps per week) and even clogs the sink. Yet it’s still the best drugstore soap you could get.

For less than a dollar, you can get a drugstore soap that doesn’t dry out your sensitive skin.

Sure, Nivea Cream Care soap doesn’t make my hands soft, but it doesn’t make them dry either. Plus I can get it every store. Which counts something too.

All in all, Nivea Cream Care soap is the best drugstore bar soap in Europe.

Ps. I’m mentioning in Europe because I can’t guarantee Nivea Cream Care soap is the best drugstore soap everywhere in the world.

As you know, not all soaps are the same everywhere. Some brands tend to change the ingredients for different segments. They diversify their products to cut the costs of production. Which kind of makes sense.

After all, water quality and weather conditions are different around the world. Hence they don’t need to add the same amount of moisturising ingredient for all the soaps.

I don’t know if this is the case for Nivea though, but it could be. Even so, I’m pretty sure you will love Nivea Cream Care soap too.
