For quite some time I was daydreaming about making a picnic somewhere in the most faraway part of our estate. I would grab a bottle of champagne, some mini sandwiches, and fruit. And stuffed all of them into the picnic basket. Then, dressed in a nice flirty midi skirt, I would be walking in the meadow, picking wildflowers on my way till finding the perfect spot where I could put down my pink blanket and enjoy my little moment.
Looking back, I would say this wish has been there in my mind from my childhood. You know that feeling when you sit down on the grass and the butterflies fly around you while you are playing with daisies. The mild smell of wildflowers and the soft touch of the grass brings you back to the times when your life was so pure and innocent. You feel safe and overwhelmed with happiness. So charming and magnificent.
Finally, I made this dream picnic come true. It came up to my mind spontaneously, while we were taking photos in our backyard for some other blog post and I saw the ray of sun enlightening my favourite part of te meadow close by the house. I ran into the house, grab the bottle of the French champagne I recently brought from Paris, my pink blanket, the first basket I could find and took the beautiful bouquet from the salon.
Running to my picnic spot, I must have looked like a little girl who just got a new puppet. It’s quite hard to describe all the happiness I felt when I finally sat down on the blanket, sipping champagne and enjoying in the mix of sun and light breeze. Even nature was on my side, allowing me to enjoy the most magical autumn moments this year.

MY PICNIC STYLE
Seems like, I can’t really say I dressed up for the occasion. After all the idea of making an autumn picnic came up my mind all the sudden. And I didn’t have time to change my outfit. Nevertheless, I’m glad I was wearing this fabulous suede skirt, a casual striped shirt, ecru pumps and Max Mara princess coat. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find all the clothes and shoes I’m wearing. Ps. I found a longer version of my skirt.
