Sharing with you all the fashion trends you need to know now. All in one post, here are my favourite fashion trends this year. Yes, I gathered all the fashion trends that are in this year. Moreover, will still be in one year time. Of course, some of the fashion trends will eventually fade away, but don’t worry, most of them will be here for months. Letting you buy your entire wardrobe now and wear it for three seasons in a row.

So, rather than buying clothes you could wear only a few weeks and claim you are fashionable, you should rather focus on the clothes you can buy now and wear an entire year.

In short, I went through all the fashion trends from the Spring/Summer 2017 and Autumn/Winter 2017 collections and gathered all the fashion trends that seem to stick around for more than two months. The best news is that you can already buy most of the clothes straight from this fashion month’s runways. Being in the second half of this fashion month and the see now – buy now strategy, you will find quite a lot of them in the stores by the end of the month.

To make it easier for you I listed all the fashion trends regarding the time they will be the most popular. Starting with spring and stripes, that are so in now and will stay very much the same for most of the year. You can find more about some of the most important trends from my THE EDIT – Trend Report below. As it goes to all the other trends from the Trend Report, that I’m not explaining in this post, I will focus on each of them in my fashion memo posts. One every Tuesday. Also, don’t forget to follow me on Pinterest to see what I’m pinning on the Fashion Trends’ boards.

Even though I started with spring, you can already wear all the winter 2017/18 springs now, as a transition clothes.

TEMPORARY TRENDS

Obviously, I couldn’t help myself adding some temporary pieces, as the cut-off-shoulder, one-side shoulder, the ripped jeans, metallic shoes. After all, you should be wearing them right now. Good news, the metallic shoes will come back in the winter. So I advise you rather purchase those instead of the white ankle boots. As it comes to mules, bralette or better say the bra top (lingerie on display) and wide leg trousers, they will stick for quite some time.

And the stripped shirt? I’m sure you already have one in your closet. No doubt, this one is a classic and is always in. However, the stripped shirt is updated this time. The classic shape has left it’s place to the destructured stripped shirt. Yet, there is no need for you to actually get yourself a destructured stripped shirt. You can simply wear it differently as usual. I wrote about that already in this post.

You probably know that the off-the-shoulder trend is a thing of the past and we are covering our shoulder again. First, only slightly, then a little more. So think of buying the cut off shoulder tops and dresses in the spring months and later (I assume the pick of the trend to be in late spring) the one-side shoulder. The one-side will, however, stay until the winter.

THE MOST IMPORTANT FASHION TRENDS OF THE YEAR

I’m briefly explaining only the most important fashion trends from the list in this post. Don’t worry the rest is following in my later fashion memo posts. And in my newsletters, of course.

STRIPES AND PATTERNS

As said, I’m starting with the stripes. If there is only one thing you can buy yourself this year because you truly need it, either clothes, shoes or any accessory, then make sure it has stripes. Luckily for you, any stripe pattern will be great. Including the Prince of Wales checks and Houndstooth. Moreover even argyle pattern (as seen at Huishan Zhang and Jenny Packham). However, Bayadere Stripes and Balanced Stripes will be it pattern to wear for the next 12 months.

WE WEAR THE FASHION ON OUR SLEEVES BUT NOT ON THE SHOULDERS

Seems like the arms will be the focus part of our body for the next 12 months, as we will be wearing so many fashion trends on our sleeves. First, there are the ruffles and extremely long sleeves. Perfect for a romantic spring. Then there are the cut-off shoulders and finally one-side shoulders.

RUFFLES

Ruffles are everywhere this year. Not only on the sleeves. However, the big ruffles we are wearing right now (in the beginning of the spring) will gradually shrink and transform into a plisse.

FLOWER FASHION

After being it fashion trends last year, flower fashion is slightly fading away this year. Still, the emphasis is on slightly and slowly. Flowers will be on our clothes and shoes up until Autumn. And even then some blooms will pop up occasionally.
